After watching Ryu and GPB play MM for about 2 years I finally got MM2 and hot sponge was the first level I played (literally searched it up) and after about an hour I beat it.
This just proves that LilKirbs can predict the future because he said that this the most popular level of all time, which means that he will always know if he will beat the baby channels in subs or not, and that means he is just doing all this because he knows what will happen next.
The second level of this video is probably the most confusing level I have seen on this channel yet. Hitting a noteblock with a shell to push it up so you can almost frame perfectly enter the door s.s I didn't even know that was possible since noteblocks don't seem to move up an entire block, only about half a block. So I didn't think they would reach high enough to get you into the door.

I wonder if the folks doing telemetry at Nintendo know about the RUclips influence on SMM/SMM2 or if they just think there's something in Ryu's level that people just LOVE. "Oh, wow, folks must absolutely adore this hot garbage! Let's implement more of that!" rather than "the pied piper of SMM pointed his army at this level."
At this point, LilKirbs should list a Fiverr where he beats peoples SMM2 tracks for them, so that they dont have to spend tens of hours beating their level, just so that they can release it.
