    How do you remove the front panel to replace the selection button lamps?

      Good question.i remember it wasnt fun.it should be in my videos.i had it off to clean window and replace tone caps on loudness board.i had it off more than onced im sure ,but other times may not have been recorded.theres catches or edges on plastic cover sides that have to be released.best bet is to have unit on side transformer down,power switch down to table,tiny bright flashlight and a small flat screw driver to shove in there to release both catches on bottom.then carefully go to top side and pull ur hair out to remove those catches with screwdriver while remaining tension on front face outwards.otherwise theyll just relock.then once there slightly free on both sides.carefully lay unit flat with edge of front over edge of table to do the rest.my prayers too you and may the force be with you.🙂😁

    This must be around the time when SANSUI and other notable companies started making junk. Nice on the outside, but crap inside

    Is there a way to remote control the volume?

    • @generalingwer4341
      @generalingwer4341  2 года назад

      No i don't believe that to be possible.there isn't enough space for a motorized pot inside.off the top of my head ;the sansui a-9 should have a motorized pot in it.(ive only seen schematic of unit and not inside it)it has a volume up down(arrow button) that could be tied into a infrared receiver and be controlled by remote.it would take some work,but possible ,i believe.thanks.
