1.5 years later and I still use this blender occasionally. It suffices for small jobs that don't require everything to be finely blended and stores away easily in my cupboard. Cleaning out some of the food between the cracks and crevices in the lid can be difficult at times (a long bristled brush would help greatly in this regard). I have no had any issues with food getting stuck in the handle of the container, as others have complained about. Although, I can certainly see it having that issue. You get what you pay for and for $35 I would say that this blender fits the price.
Garbage. I have one and the the plastic mating surfaces wear down and no longer spin the blades. Lesson learned? Buy a food processor with the motor on the bottom.
What you are looking for is a stand mixer, not a blender. They have much higher torque and are designed to knead dough with a special attachment. I'd recommend KitchenAid (owned by Whirlpool corporation), since they assemble their stand mixers in the USA. "All KitchenAid stand mixers are assembled in its factory in Greenville, Ohio. The die-cast parts of the machines come from various manufacturing plants around the world and are hand worked to remove imperfections on the metal cases. A factory tour, known as the "KitchenAid Experience" is conducted by the assembly line workers." I watched a video on this machine where the rubber seal was starting to rip but this part is not available so you have to buy the whole thing this is putting me of buying
I don't use mine very often, so I haven't experienced this issue. I could see this happening though. I'd certainly suggest a more high-end commercial blender for heavy use.
It wasn't any fun doing everything with one hand either! As others have pointed out, I was filming by holding my phone with my left hand and doing everything else with my right hand. I don't have any professional camera equipment or anywhere else to mount my phone while capturing the video.

“Now you lick the blades and that’s how your life ends”😂😂😂

Can you make a bread dough in it like other food processors?

This blender sucks because the lid & handle trap food between the plastic & you cannot get any of it out!
Tripod???

You shook up the coconut before you put in da lime.

I agree :) I actually did buy my own tripod from WalMart a few years ago. It's Dolica model GX650B204 and is really nice and was a great price.
