Handel triumphs again...... beautiful
These Anthem as with all of Handel music are packed with invention variety and above all feeling, a genius in everything he composed from intimate harpsichord pieces to big grand vocal works.
What a perfect gem this anthem is. The duet is wholly perfect and holy perfection.
Bellisimo!! I can't stop listening to this.
Thank you for this divine post. Psalm 92 in the Vulgate. Protestant: Handel used verses from the psalm for his Chandos Anthem No. 4 in 1717 or 1718, intended for use in the Anglican Church. Catholic: Jean-Joseph de Mondonville set the psalm in 1734 as a Grand Motet in several movements, Dominus regnavit decorum.
EXCELLENT, BEAUTIFUL & INSPIRING! I think this work - & these🎶vocalists - are✝️ANOINTED!
Very good interpretation. This piece of music is suitable for church music in our days. It is not too difficult and sounds nice. It is available in good and affordable editions. We sang it in our church in Germany recently. Our choir does not have the quality of this one, but the people still enjoyed it.
Sublime 😍
Beautiful!
