@@simplyemily6960 major is another huge factor, for ucla i applied for computational math, but everything else i put cs
"Degrees, like laws, love, and most things that matter, have a price tag. Even a multimillionaire in Singapore, nearly dead, can buy an illegal kidney transplant and escape jail time, while the poor farmer who sold his kidney not only loses an organ but also faces years in prison and loses 500K SGD. If self-proclaimed 'zero corruption' Singapore can get away with such crimes, why can't US Ivy League do the same?"
Congrats. Why do you cry? This should be gladness!
Congratulations!! 🥳 Also someone from Washington I have never heard anyone called the University of Washington “UWash”, everyone calls it “U-dub”, so it was interesting hearing a new name!
oh lmfaoo i don’t know anything sorry 😭 i just assumed it was like the UCS in the name shortening
@@nnatalielamm haha, you’re completely okayy😭 just pointed it out bc I assumed maybe out of state people called it that

OMG CONGRATS ON UCLA GIRRLLLFOIDSJFJSDBFHSDIFHSDJFBNPSIDUVHAEJVBNLJWDBFIASDHF im a sophomore in hs and omg i am dying to get into ucla with a major in compsci. i wanna be a software engineer so bad and omg im literally tearing up for u like u really did that. STATS PLEASE AND AGAIN CONGRATS SO PROUD OF U
awww thank you!! i have my stats pinned in the comments, but also keep in mind (and personally i would not recommend) applying for cs or like applying cs for all schools unless you’re dead set on it or have a lot of ecs to back up your qualifications in cs cause IT IS LIKE THE MOST IMPACTED MAJOR and truly the best of the best get in (i feel like i would have gotten into more schools if it weren’t for my major choice cause i don’t have a lot of cs ecs to back it up) but maybe by the time you apply it won’t be as impacted 😭, i am majoring in computational math at ucla (think like cs mixed with math) and i might try to switch in but lowk gunna try comp math out first lol, but good luck!!
also like don’t take my advice as word (i’m just speaking from what i saw this year from my friends and i’s college decisions) but do your own research as well cause many jobs (idk abt software engineer) and like for the stuff i wanted to do, though cs is a better degree as entry way, you can get into the field with many other majors
Gosh you’re gorgeous
WTF I got into UCI but Rejected UCLA. Can we trade plz? congrats by the way , UCLA is my dream school.
