- I've posted many Q&A segments from Diana Ross on RUclips, so naturally, when she was in Washington DC for her three days of concerts at the Kennedy Center, this was not going to be an exception!
The good news was that she announced her intention of going back to Hawaii in May 2020 for a concert (hopefully more). Her spirit and energy still amazes me and her love for her fans was evident all night! So at the end of the Q&A. She surprised everyone with one of her biggest hits in the UK...not once, but twice!! "When You Tell Me That You Love Me" is a beautiful ballad and she gave it her all this night! I thought I had recorded this song before but apparently, I didn't! So I'm so glad I was in the right mind to preserve this song for all to hear. It's gorgeous, the way only Ms Ross can do.
The first half of the song is FLAWLESS! I'm glad she's practicing it on her US tour dates, so that by the time she gets to the UK, the whole song will be just as perfect!! Go Miss Ross!
I was hoping for the same, but she only performed it once in the UK 😟 (as I'm sure you know) 🇬🇧 For that lucky audience in Birmingham 🎶

Keep on keeping on Miss Ross...I know you don't let negative energy into your personal space so you are insulated from the insults and barbs thrown at you by "fans"....I love you and in my mind you can do no wrong. I don't enjoy fighting but sometimes it gets to be too much. It just takes one fake fan to get the ball rolling and before you know it everyone is jumping on the clown car...bless your heart...I love you dearly

Diana sounds excellent but the band should have played it as per the original version with the key change which is what Diana assumed they would do but unfortunately the band messed up. This also happened with Voice of the heart.
They didn’t go to the key change because it would have been too high for her.
@@weslleyfrancisco8616 but she already started in that higher key then realized the band hadn't done the key change themselves. She still has her head voice pretty much intact also her chest voice is still very strong
@@AGNETHAFALTSK0G It’s not that she can’t do it, but it wouldn’t be easy for her. Maybe dropping a tone would help, so the modulation would be perfectly sung. Or she can sing it all in head voice like her Tonight Show performance.

Understandable if u can't reach the high notes. It's call ageing. Paul McCartney can't hit the high notes too. I still love this song.
