I love your tip about seeing what you already have before buying more. I recently started taking photos of all my decor up each holiday so I refer back to it and see what I already have and if I purchase something new it helps to make sure it will match my current items.

For the trees in baskets you could use zip ties to stabilize the tree from leaning. Slip a couple through the basket where you can’t see them. Love your decorations and all the trees!

I know some folks, especially RUclipsr, decorate really early. For me, it’s has ALWAYS been the weekend after Thanksgiving. I really, really love your decorations. 😀
I’ve collected snowmen for 30 years and I’ve always done the trick of using my storage tubs for my snowmen to hold all of my bookcase items when I empty my bookcases for the Holiday season.

I never thought about no ornaments on the tree, but it's an ingenious idea! So "clean" looking. It took me years to be ok with not putting up our kids' "schoolmade" ornaments and now to see your ornamentless tree...I think I'm ready for this. 😁 BTW, for your tree in your office you could use the led lights they have out there that are battery powered. I just bought a couple sets for our year round porch trees. 😍
I don't know why but I was not expecting to see your daughter helping. It gave me the feel goods, and made me want to get our decorations out, our tradition is on Thanksgiving day we turn on Christmas music, and my husband plays the PS4 while we decorate, and when it's time for the star he lifts up our youngest and helps him put the star on, it's such a great time, the kids even love their Dad role they turn the PS4 on and hand him the controller! ( he doesn't play much, so I think he enjoys it as well) Love this video! What a beautiful family and home! Thanks for sharing!

Everything looks so great! I LOVE Christmas trees with just lights and no ornaments. You could use the little teeny battery powered LED lights and wrap them around the tree in your office!
Love the pops of green you did this year! So pretty and festive. I LOVE the three trees behind the couch too! For the tree in your office, you can buy cheap, long fairy light strands from Amazon that are battery powered and wrap it.
For the tree in the office, the one w/o light outlet.. you can get battery operated lights. They have them in 100 count - 8 settings and with timers. I have a few. They'll work perfectly with the size of that tree. Plus they come in warm or cool white and multicolor. Not at all expensive.
Where you don’t have outlets, use battery powered LED lights on those small trees. They are tiny, delicate, beautiful, lights that automatically turn off. I use them for my wreaths, they are so pretty and convenient.

Yes I use throws AND I have been known to use cute quality tablecloths I find at thrift stores for tree skirts. I now have a brown wicker tree collar but this year bought a large wicker hamper to elevate the tree in.
Your videos and just watching you bring me motivation to get up and clean every time (after I have already cleaned and house is already tidy) that I sometime have to pause and come back to finish watching the video. You also have the holiday cheerful spirit! I have watched you a few years now since I discovered you and your daughter suddenly had a growth spurt. As always, love your videos and creativity.
I have a rotating tree that is literally 11 years old.Bought it when we knew it was my moms last Christmas. It is so very hard to get rid of as I can not live with out a rotating tree. I have many many decorations including pine cones and berry's I stick in the tree and they all stay put. But OMG you have totally given me hope to find a rotating base and use any tree now.

Watching yall decorate right now. I also like the tip of using other things for tree skirts. I have two pencil trees in my dining room. I have white microfiber clothes from the dollar tree automotive department as skirts in there. It looks like bright white fresh snow.
Ashley, the house looks very nice. I did have a thought for you, it's something I do. I use an old Christmas tree branch form a tree that I don't use. I use them around the house, they work out good for extra greenery around the house. I put them on top of my chaina cabinet and bookcase. I just lay the branch up there and then up the pic's old ornaments on them along with being able to move and shape the branches,

A way that I keep track of the Christmas decor that I own, is that I created a document that lists all the items, with accompanying photos of each item and the storage location (loft, box number, etc). If I donate any items, I just add any new items in their place. It was a big task when I initially put the document together, but it’s super-easy to maintain as I don’t add massive amount of new items each year. I can then look at the document when all the Christmas decor appears in stores, and I know what I have and what I want/need to look out for.

The one tree in your den, stick a mason jar in the basket and then your tree will fit in it. Then cover it with a blanket 😊

Not sure if you know but candle wicks should be trimmed to @ 1/4” and straightened. This helps the candle last longer and burn evenly. ☺️
