Thanks for the review. It’s good to see so many companies in this market and regularly coming up with updates in their line up. Have used the Aer tech pouch and enjoyed it. This new pouch is an interesting proposition too but to my mind the Bellroy Classic pouch tops the list in terms of quality of materials, thoughtful design and usefulness
Thank you for watching and I agree I really like seeing all the accessory ecosystem that companies are putting together! And although I like this pouch a lot bellroy classic pouch is still one of my favs!:)
Thanks so much for such a comprehensive review! Really appreciate the comparisons with similar pouches and also the detailed demo with real tech/toiletries needs. I just bought this even though I also just bought the new Wandrd tech and toiletry pouches :). I love the material of the Wandrd tech pouch
Thank you for watching and I’m glad the video was helpful! I’ve been testing out the Wandrd pouches as well, those have been really great too and the combination with these will be great for creating a versatile modular organizational system!:)
hey they are back in stock .. good to get before they go out again. and now there's one in x-pac. very cool. also to answer your question, the city sling (in x-pac) is amazing.
@@dannypacks I have to say, AER hit an absolute home run with this one - design, materials, quality assembly, pricing. I predict they will continue to sell / sell out of this one. one of my favorites for sure - really handy.
Do you happen to know if there's a difference in weight between the 1680D ballistic and the 900D versions? They're both listed as 0.3lbs on the website, which is not terrible but still a bit heavy for such a small pouch (for my taste). Love that it stands up, hangs, and opens wide-I think it could make a great dopp kit as I hate having to dig around for smaller things like tweezers and nail clippers.
Thank you for watching! The ballistic nylon feels maybe ever so slightly heavier but the difference is pretty hard to notice and I agree it makes a pretty solid Dopp kit! Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer!:)
Thank you for watching and definitely a tough choice! As much as I like the HLT I prefer the slim pouch for tech as it can handle bulkier items a bit better
Thank you for watching and definitely a tough choice! For my day to day I lean towards the Aer slim pouch as it provides a little more space and organization, but if I wanted something I could also travel with I would go with the medium Wandrd pouch as i can pack it into my travel bags more easily. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the pouches!:)
@@dannypacks thank you. I thought the wandrd tech pouch medium is bigger in terms of capacity as it can hold 2L? In terms material quality how they differ? Thanks again
Good questions! I would say they feel pretty close in volume overall, the slim pouch is maybe a bit longer and it’s materials are stiffer which makes it harder for it to squeeze into tighter spots whereas the Wandrd pouch material molds a bit better around the items inside it and can collapse down a bit more if it’s not fully packed out. Both feel really weather resistant but I would say the Aer pouch feels like it offers slightly more padding:)
Hi, nice review! But I´m not sure if my big ass power-supply unit (Lenovo, 6.3*2.9*3.2 inch) and mouse (Logitech MX Master 2.5*3.3*1.9 inch) fits. What do you think? Would be great if you could check
Thank you for watching! Given the slimmer silhouette in f the pouch you may be able to fit one of those items (although it would be pretty tight and likely create some bulging) but I don’t think both could fit well at the same time. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer!:)
Thank you for watching! Unfortunately I don’t have one of those to do a proper test, my guess is it could potentially squeeze in but it would be pretty tight especially the height. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer!:)
Thank you for watching! I haven’t done any videos on those specifically, the closet thing I’ve done is probably my round up video of daily bags with great weather resistance. Good suggestion tho for something to consider doing more content for in the future!:)
Thank you for watching! Unfortunately the iPad will be a little too big for the compartment. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer!:)
Thank you for watching! The pouches are pretty water resistant (especially the ballistic nylon version) and will keep your items protected from spills and light to medium rain, but I wouldn’t say they are fully water proof. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer!:)
Hopefully you don’t take this offensively, but lately your videos have just been you showing things you were sent in a very dry, commercial-like manner. The older videos had much more of your own opinions, and less script like dialogue
kudos for also showing the pouch as a dopp kit
When I saw the thumbnail for another channel that reviewed this, I actually thought it was a toiletry bag.
Thank you for watching and I was definitely excited it could work well as a toiletry bag as well give it’s slimmer form factor!:)
I love AER products...great quality. I have mostly dump style packs and use pouches to organize.
Thank you for watching and I agree definitely a fan of their products and how solidly built they are!:)

wow, great review! now I am thinking of getting 2 of these for both tech, and dopp as well..

What would you choose? Tom Bihn HLT or the slim pouch for tech?
Thank you for watching and definitely a tough choice! As much as I like the HLT I prefer the slim pouch for tech as it can handle bulkier items a bit better
What backpack is this in the video?
Thank you for watching! That is the able carry daily backpack
@@dannypacks Thanks so much! Looks great. Thanks for putting out great content!
What do you prefer personally, this aer slim pouch or the wandrd tech pouch in medium. Help me to decide. Thanks!

Do you think it can fit the big macbook charger? Like the brick + the cable?

I like mine, but I don’t like that it kind of leans forward. It can still stand up, but leans a bit, especially depending on how it’s packed.
Thank you for watching and for sharing your experience with the slim pouch! This is definitely one of my favorites although I agree on the leaning
Hey I just came across your channel. Do you happen to have any vids on waterproof bags?
Thank you for watching! I haven’t done any videos on those specifically, the closet thing I’ve done is probably my round up video of daily bags with great weather resistance. Good suggestion tho for something to consider doing more content for in the future!:)
@@dannypacks which video is that one?
I just added a link to it in the description of this video :)
Will the main compartment hold an iPad Mini?
Thank you for watching! Unfortunately the iPad will be a little too big for the compartment. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer!:)
Can it fits an Ipad Mini?
Thank you for watching! Unfortunately this is a little too small for an iPad mini
Looks like an awesome bag, no amazon no way for me, just saying. Thanks!

Is the kit waterproof from the outside
