This machine has changed my life. SERIOUSLY. I have been on CPAP therapy for 7 years and didn't know I could wake up feeling so good. I love being able to monitor my progress and see if there are areas I need to improve. It's SO QUIET and small. That messenger bag style case is a bonus. Nobody knows I'm carrying a medical device, it's cute😂. Now I feel like I am an active participant in improving my sleep therapy. I look FORWARD to going to bed and am turning in earlier now. I've adjusted the humidity and temperature to prevent the sawdust mouth I was waking up with for YEARS. I'm ❤
Just received my airsense 11 since 4 days now. I never have had cpap therapie so ilI am impressed about the therapy and about how silent the machine is. The ramp settings I have had this on 30 minutes but it increases my events majorly so I have set it in auto for tonight. I am very happy with your video ❤thank you🙏 for bearing with us🌹. 💋💋💋💋 from The Netherlands 🇳🇱
Exact the same story as from fransisco.. also from The Netherlands. I got mine around 10 days ago. Read Al the paperwork and having problems till now! I think I phoned the company almost every day! Speak to helpful lady’s. They do theirs best. They make adjustments. One time I get almost drowned, the other time I got awake thinking I got no air. ( the pressure was that high that I not get rid of my exhale. My lungs where full .) and many other problems. And basically you’re on your own. Now I am learning to handle the machine myself. Thanks for the movie. Regards Jeff
This was very helpful as they don’t teach you anything in the training class. Thank you for your help! I am a first time user that is struggling. This information puts me at ease.
Great information. I got my AirSense 11 twelve days ago. My setting options are not the same as yours. For example the setting I was looking for was the auto on/off. My machine will turn on automatically but will not turn off automatically. When I take my pillows off to go to the bathroom during the night it just keeps blasting air. On my screen there is nothing below the mask setting when I scroll down. There are a whole bunch of other settings that don't show up but right now I am mostly interested in enabling the auto off setting.
Thank you for such a great in-depth video. I just got mine four days ago and I've been waking up with water in my nasal pillow. Could you please let me know how to get the settings to where the water will not accumulate in my nasal mask. I do have the heated line but I'm starting to get discouraged because waking up with water all around your nose is not a good feeling. Thank you so much and have a great day
Good information on settings. Just got my AirSense 11. I use a full face mask and I believe it was set for that in options. My first night it almost seemed like it was pulsing on the ramp up. Air the stop then air. Also at least twice it stopped I thought it was a power failure but it started again. Heard it will stop if your mask not fitted. I didn't look for any display on the unit when it happened Thank you in advance.
I am going to do a video on the issue with CPAPs turning off while in use hopefully today. Stay tuned on that. Pulsing can be from having the EPR turned up to high. Might want to turn that down a notch.
@@CPAPmyway Unit worked better last night. Excellent point on turning down EPR. Think it did turn off last night. Look forward to your video on Unit turning off, Thanks very much for helping me with the setup.
Thank you for the video. Have had my AS 11 for several months and picked up some great info. Trouble currently is leaks. Can you explain how to interpret the leak data? 50L/min from last night. What does that mean? Horrible? Not so bad? Ask for another type of mask?

I've had my resmed airsense 11 about 2 months. It is so much like work using it with the sunset sol mask. I am just as tired each morning, or more tired than before i got it. I wasn't told the pressure to use. When i got it home, the pressure was at 4 low and 20 high. Toughing it out a little longer. Cpap is probably not for me. The home sleep test stated 18 events per hour. With tbe resmed 11 it is over 20 some nights. The pressure set between 4 and 9 doesn't cause the sunset sol mask to leak as much as the higher pressure.

I've tried different masks and even turned down the pressure last night (I'll see if that works tonight) but I don't see any video's on how to make sure the heating plate is warming my water. My question revolves around if this machine will ramp down. I seem to be waking up every few hours with a high pressure. I though that each time my mask had a leak. However, last night I woke up with no leak. I stayed away and took a video as proof. I had to open my mouth because I felt like I wasn’t getting air, the air was blowing like crazy ! I felt a bit of moisture on My Mask vents, not a lot, then it settled down, what could do this ?
Are you using a nasal mask? If so, then when your mouth opens the pressure may increase due to the leak. Keeping mouth closed or going with full in this case helps.
My machine after a year is suddenly moving up to the highest pressure before I fall asleep. I’m breathing steadily but it gets so high I feel like I’m suffocating. I don’t understand what’s going on
A lot of times that can be due to a leak. So make sure that you have a fresh seal on your mask and that it is fit well. If that doesn't help then you will probably have to speak with your doctor to se what can be done with the pressure.
I do not have the pressure relief option on my Air Sense 11 settings. It goes from Ramp Time to Humidity Level. My old machine is perfect. I've tried different settings, but cannot get comfortable with this machine. Ugh! I feel as if I wasted my $$, and it wasn't cheap.

How do you make the display brighter in my dark room? Please don't tell me to unplug and disconnect the machine and take it to a brighter room where it will automatically brighten so I can read the nightly sleep results.
Shine a light on the sensor [such as a white screen on your phone, or a mini-torch ]. The sensor is behind a 4mm x 4mm transparent plastic window located around 3cm to the right of the on/off button on top of the device.

I started the Airsense 11 on April 7, and ever since about the first week of May I deal with constant cough, mucus in my chest, hoarseness, tickling in my throat and increased reflux. After doing some research I found that the machine is supposedly doing this (??) Is there a setting I can change? I have the humidity and pressure on Auto. My pressure relief is off. I have the machine on auto ramp. Please help! I thought this machine was awesome until this happened. It never happened with my Philips machine that was recalled. I’m on a six month rent to own and I cannot afford to switch back over to my old machine unless I want to do that permanently. Any advice for the Airsense 11 would be greatly appreciated. I have found online that many many people are dealing with this issue
I cannot seem to get an answer to this question. If I switch from a full mask to pillow, but do not change the setting on my resmed 11 to match, can there be a problem?
I understand what I should do. My question is, if the mask setting is "Not changed" for whatever reason, will this affect the operation of the CPAC device? i.e.Flow rates, ramp time, pressure release, etc.

Hello this is my first time using CPAP machine. I notice my ramp time is off and cannot select it do anyone know why?
I am not sure. You may have to ask your provider.
What is the significance of the WD-40?
That is my coffee cup. LOL!
I had it set to auto and wakes me up before i even fully dose off...i tried manual 5 to 10 ramp time 45 mins and when i fall asleep i gasp for more air.....i have asthma and my water is not on the machine either i wish i could find a setting that allows me to fall asleep but not suffocate me or blast me with to much air at rhe same time....im in desperate need of using it but cannot successfully...anyone have a setting that works???
That is different for everyone for sure. How long have you been using it?
How do you make the display brighter in my dark room? Please don't tell me to unplug and disconnect the machine and take it to a brighter room where it will automatically brighten so I can read the nightly sleep results.
It is automatically adjusted.
@CPAPmyway Did you even read my question? It's ok to say you dont know. Dont be afraid.
Shine a light on the sensor [such as a white screen on your phone, or a mini-torch ]. The sensor is behind a 4mm x 4mm transparent plastic window located around 3cm to the right of the on/off button on top of the device.
Question: if I use full face, will it better result is preventing 'dry mouth'? Or with my nasal mask, how can I do better in avoiding dry mouth?
We actually have a great blog and video on Dry Mouth. Link below.

Does it blow air near the top of the tube ? Is that normal
Yes that can be part of the exhalation port on some masks.
Why is the data frozen and not showing on my app
You may have to reset the app and reconnect. That does not sound like an issue with the CPAP .....hopefully.
Machine makes a breathing noise when im sleep. Its almost like the pressure is too high. I turn machine off them turn back on same result. Im starting to believe there is an issue with the machine. It keeps my wife up so i end up sleeping in the living room on yhe couch with no mask at all
Do you have a mask leak that might explain it?
I replaced the mask still same issue it seems it gets louder as I sleep. I woke up this morning and it was loud like the noise was coming from the machine not the mask
How do I lower the air pressure?
You have to access the provider menu for that.

My display screen is black...how can I fix
It will go black when running after a few seconds. Touching the screen should wake it back up.
Why is my sleeping time did not change over?
It did not record your usage? If that is what you are asking check out the link below.

My ramp option is greyed out (can’t chg it), so on auto mode it stays at the low setting …how long will it stay this way
If your setting is already at the lowest pressure, then you may be have Ramp.
That does not sound like a settings issue. I would speak with your Dr about this.
Where is the pressure setting? I feel like my mask is trying to get my nose pregnant.
LOL!!
you gotta hold the options and “my sleep view” tab at the same time for like 5 seconds. Basically the blue and purple icon. hold that down
I keep waking up with blocked ears
NO fun there. I would check with the sleep Dr about that.
I cannot seem to get an answer to this question. If I switch from a full mask to pillow, but do not change the setting on my resmed 11 to match, can there be a problem?
You should update the mask when you change.
I understand what I should do. My question is, if the mask setting is "Not changed" for whatever reason, will this affect the operation of the CPAC device? i.e.Flow rates, ramp time, pressure release, etc.
Please help!!! 😰😰😰
how do i change the ramp setting to auto or off? I have asthma and my dr has it set to 5 minutes and i feel like im suffocating. It stresses me out. Not good for sleep. I dont have another appt for 3 months and they are impossible to get ahold of. I even tried holding down my options and my sleep view to access special menu but that doesnt work either. Its de-selected. Please help.
You should be able to see those instruction in this video. Were you able to find that?
How do I increase the air pressure?I keep waking up gasping for air worse than before the machine and when I wake up the pressure is still only at the minimum 4 with the ramp time on auto
Make sure that you check with your clinician, but the video below will show you how to do that.
