you can buy an actual mic that looks damn near identical to this one for like $200

there's a ton of "pill style" mics that look shockingly similar to this one (and weirdly, each other (the amount of pill style mics that look like they use the same chassis is really shocking to me))
the only work that you'd need to do is some slight modification to the chassis and probably an extension cable because most of these mics lack removable cables

Standard dowel rod size from Ace hardware! No idea never measured it just took in the base and tested the dowels till one fit 😂😂
