    Ingredients :
    Maida 1 cup(approximately 200gms)
    Salt a pinch
    Baking powder 1/2 tsp
    Oil / ghee 1 tsp
    Water to mix batter
    Ketch up bottle to make jilebis
    Oil ti deep fry
    To make Sugar syrup
    Sugar 1 cup(around 250 gms)
    Water 1/2 cup (a little more e than 1/2 cup works fine too)
    Yellow food color a pinch
    Method:
    1.At first make sugar syrup. Boil water and sugar in medium flame just for five minutes or till the syrup turns sticky. Add in food color and mix properly. Close the lid and keep aside.
    2.in a large mixing bowl take 1 cup maida (200gms), add in salt, oil or ghee, baking powder 1/2 tsp and mix once using whisk..now go on adding water and mix the batter well until it reaches the consistency shown here. Mixing the batter at this stage is important. Keep mixing for atleast 3 to 4 minutes to make a lump free batter.
    3.heat oil in a wide kadai. Oil should be hot enough before pouring jilebis. Once it's hot, start making jilebis as shown here. Cook on both sides and dip in sugar syrup for not more than 10 secs. Now the jilebis are ready. You can decorate with saffron strands and pista before serving.
    Note :
    These instant jilebis are very tasty and easy to make. Please go through the points to get perfect ones.
    1.switch off sugar syrup, close the lid and keep it aside once it turns sticky, no need to wait for one string consistency.
    2.mix bater well atleast for 3-4 mins.add water as much as needed. You can rest it for 5 minutes before using. Not sure if that helps, but by following this i got good jilebis, so you can try too.
    3.make sure the oil is hot enough before deep frying. Otherwise jilebis will go to bottom and come up after a while with flat texture .This is not good.
    4.do not soak fried jilebis in warm sugar syrup more than 10 seconds. If we take them out on time they stay crisp longer.
