So..... Gundog 2 starts next week right? Also I feel like this would be great as an animated TV show or movie. Really enjoyed this each week. Everyone involved did fantastic work on this.

That it, everything else can go on hold for an hour!
This was such a entertaining listen from start to finish. Parts of reminded me of gundam series but not in the obvious mech parts. Moreso in the in raw in between moments with Faulk, Dak and Runyan. Where there struggles and perservance build out the characters giving out glimpses of hope. Other parts reminded me of Star Wars in which the fantasy of it all kind of overlays with the science fiction in a way that everything seems logically possible enough where as a reader/listener you never question what happens as it all seems possible.
The climax and falling action were done perfectly and kept me as a listener/reader on edge. As I truly was unsure if Dak's brother was going to make it out. But I enjoyed the conclusion and where it led too.
I never got to experience what radio drama's were like but I remembered seeing them on old tv shows and movies where people would gather around and listen. I always wondered how that would work as we've always had tv's and computers since I've been alive. However, after experiencing how you rolled out gundog I completely understand how people could show up and listen to a story being told in that way. As Shannon's telling of your tale was so riveting and engrossing I often found myself forgetting that I was listening to a story at all.
Thanks for sharing your creative work with us Gary. It's truly something special. I will definitely be getting some merch to support the effort as I would have gladly paid for this experience but you provided it for free.

Forgot to comment after watching! GREAT finale with the possibility of more story. This should be a film or Netflix style anime series like Edgerunners or Dragon Prince. The last few "paragraphs" of the story gave me chills. Well done!

I just found the podcast version of Gundog and binged the whole series within 3 days. It was an incredible story told in fantastic fashion. Thank you so much for all the hard work put in to deliver such a fantastic final product. Is this really the finale or is there hope of a follow-up season?
