    Hi Becky. Keep some safety pins in your grow room and when you pull off your gloves clip them together with the safety pin and you can wash them with the safety pin attached and they will stay together for you. I use to do that with socks when my kids were young. My kids are grown now but for some reason I’m still losing socks when I wash them I think it is true when I lose socks they come back as Tupperware lids that have no bottoms lol. Love your videos

    Becky, when I make any kind of monkey bread, I always dip my dough in melted butter and put a layer in the pan. Then I top with cheese, nuts, or fruit, repeating layers. I have been making monkey bread since the seventies and have never had it stick. I also don't make balls with my dough, just pull off pieces or roll out and cut in pieces. When it rises, it is fine.

      Totally agree with these tips. Living with bipolar includes depression and anxiety and I’ve learnt to be as careful about what I put into my mind as I am about what I put into my body. There’s a saying garbage in, garbage out. I don’t have control over everything in life but I do have a choice over the media I consume. Sometimes it’s hard to restrain myself. But it’s me and my loved ones who suffer if I don’t. My psychologist taught me I needed to take daily action to support my mental health and not just take the medication she prescribed me.

    Becky, can you turn the left handed gloves inside out to make right handed gloves? lol (use the eraser end of a pencil to get the tips of the fingers all the way inside out)

      I think her garden gloves are vinyl coated (looks like they’ve been dipped in liquid rubber); that would be less than a desirable feeling on one’s hand. Or maybe it’s just ME that it would drive crazy. 😄

    Last year, I made quite the investment in an All-Clad set of cookware. I’ve noticed the handles of several of your pieces resemble the handles on my cookware. I’ve been so careful to hand wash (according to directions), but in this video, I saw you place an All-Clad-looking boiler in the dishwasher!!!! SAY IT IS SO AND I NO LONGER HAVE TO WASH BY HAND!!! 😊

    • @user-mc3tp5sd2z
      @user-mc3tp5sd2z 5 месяцев назад

      Technically, you probably can, but from their website “To keep your All-Clad looking brand new, we recommend handwashing your cookware with a mild soap/detergent and sponge instead of the dishwasher. High heat and harsh detergents used in dishwashers can corrode and dry out the surface.”
      Personally I love shining up my pans after use. I got two all clads at goodwill yesterday, a little soap, a good scrub with bar keepers friend, dry for no water spots and they look like new. My 20 yr old ones still look new as well. I have occasionally put a pot in the dw and it comes out fine, but I don’t normally. Mine aren’t nonstick though. I have one nonstick pan for eggs and I don’t think I’d dare put it in the dw.

      Dishwashers with heat can warp the pans, so it’s better to hand wash them and to prevent erosion.

    Your a grow room looks so much nicer. It looks more cheerful and like it belongs to the garden now. You’re kind of making me excited to move back to the states just because I can have a garden again. I live in Saudi right now and I don’t even have a balcony and the light in my apartment is kind of terrible.. beautiful apartment but lots of light is not very desirable in the apartments here. Lots of walls within feet of my windows. Anyway, you are inspiring me and I don’t watch any other gardening channels except for the Dainty Diaries and I started there with her because of sewing content which she rarely does anymore, but she got me hooked on all of her other things. That means RUclipsrs are not just about the content . We love you for other things when you can drag us along with all of your passions😊

    That's my only complaint about Johnny's Seeds. But they are pretty local to me so love when I can buy theirs. Keep one of their catalogs on your grow shelf or drawer and can quick check images,fold pages over or some kind of bookmark in the the pages of seeds you have ordered is really helpful.

    Hey Becky, I watch you all the time from Canada! Love your cooking days to gardens days. Another thing when it comes to watering., my suggestion is to bottom water as the roots will grow deeper and stronger. You can also see how much water you are putting in the trays. Hope this helps as well with your seedlings! Happy planting.

    For the roasted garlic, you could have used your garlic pucks and some olive oil, cook it in your pan at medium until garlic is roasted. Added bonus, the oil will be infused with garlic flavour.
