What are the breeds of these “ponies”? They sure do look big for ponies.
Look them up. You'll see in their lineage why most of them would measure out if FEI weren't corrupt.

I’m appalled by some of the riders dreadful riding. Bethany Voss, among others, needs to go right back to basics.

And again we see ponies that aren't ponies, but actually horses, Kristal Sparkle van Begeveld being the extremest example in this class, measuring 153 cm
And then instead of having measures to combat this skewing corruption (where children are taught cheating is the way to go btw), FEI goes on to drop the random control measuring at big events and instates life-time measurements.
Insane. But it's this sport in a nutshell.
