But… it’s my favourite part…
This is just my personal opinion so no body should try to tell me otherwise.
But in my perspective, I think Dazai holds Chuuya and Odasaku to him equally. Although I think he at least holds Chuuya closer to him in a way.
Cause when you think about it. Even after he left, all he thought about was Chuuya as he stated in the Prison Arc. Even if he was just talking about the ways he could kill him. But it’s close enough to show that all he thought about was Chuuya over the years he was gone.
And about the way he said he was thinking of ways to kill Chuuya over the years. It’s very obvious he could’ve done just that by simply not saving him from the few times Chuuyas used Corruption.
Cause if Dazai really wanted death on Chuuya. Why waste his time and energy on someone he supposedly hates?
And spoilers for Stormbringer.
Why would Dazai risk all of Yokohama for Chuuya? Because he gave Chuuya the choice of finding out if he was human or not
And even after the Stormbringer arc ended, he keeps calling Chuuya a human in any way he can. Either subtly or very obviously that even Chuuya just brushes off or either does or doesn’t notice.
And it’s stated that Dazai has written countless books/journals? About Chuuya.
And even when Dazai was trying to find a world where Odasaku was alive so he could be happy with him. Chuuya was always with him one way or another in those worlds. Even in that one Universe that Sango Harukawa mentioned that if Dazai told Chuuya he was gonna leave the mafia, that Chuuya in that world left with him and they both joined the ADA.
The fact that although Dazai was always going after Odasaku, Chuuya was always with him or on his mind either way. Besides, I don’t think I can think of anyone else but Dazai who has the guts to tell a complete stranger(Chuuya) “That’s why I love you” in just a few minutes of their first encounter with each other.
But that’s basically all I can think of when I think of their relationship with each other.
Cause even Sango Harukawa ships them, but chooses not to make it canon because he doesn’t wanna disrespect the Authors…even though I already think he’s crossed that line already.
But don’t get me wrong, I love Dazai and Odasakus relationship. I just personally think Dazai holds Chuuya closer to him in that regard. 😅

And it doesn’t rlly do anything bcs most of the time I just skip those parts of the video anyways lol. So in the day ur not rlly getting a lot from making breaks other than annoyed viewers 🤷♂️.
