And the fleuron bag is really so cute. I’m waiting for my Birkin 25 right now (I’ve changed my color request a few times so my SA was waiting for a decision). Either a neutral (I love greys) or lighter to medium toned blues is what I settled on. And I agree that the k25 in a soft leather In the Retourne style is casual. My wish for that is a dark cool pink for that one. But after the Birkin. I got some oasis dark pink sandals in bougainvillea and that in a bag would be awesome. My SA said no new pinks this season tho so I’ll wait. Can’t wait to see what you think of the new demellier tote! By the way your skin is looking so fabulous and glowy!

I think I had the same mindset as you about versatility when I was starting my collection. I wanted to get the MOST value possible because I was new to spending that kind of money on a bag. Now that I have built and continue to build a small collection I am letting go of that requirement more and more because I have some variety to choose from so it’s easier to meet all my needs with various bags. It’s an evolution of mindset, and a product of the privilege of a larger budget to spend on trendier or less versatile pieces.
Hi May! I love bottega I have the teen pouch in the weave in the parakeet and it’s my go to spring summer bag. I use for weekend travel or a grab and go. I have 2 non practical evening bags mini cappucine and mini lady Dior all others I wear whenever. My Kelly 28 is in sellier and I use as a grab and go I love it
Hi Maree! Your teen parakeet is one that I would admire from afar. I love that color from BV but I dont think I would ever incorporate it. The kelly in the 28 size sounds soooo good to carry everything & the kitchen sink 😄
Love the brands and bags on your radar for 2025! Very curious about the Leo and Violette. I have never seen the top handle bag and it looks gorgeous! I am with you on the mini Lindy. It is so cute….but I am not a crossbody person most of the time. I like shoulder, totes, and top handle.
I too am eyeing DeMellier and Fleuron, they both look lovely. So far I've added a Polene and 2 bags from Ateliers Auguste, which I love. Also on my wishlist are Mlouye and Mietis. So original!
Those are great pieces. I didnt have the best experience with Ateliers Auguste so I have decided to remove them from my list for now. Mlouye is another brand that intrigues me. Their designs 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
The demellier NY tote is my favorite from the brand, I would love to add one to my collection. The bag that you got last year instead of the mini Jodie looks way better IMO. About the Kelly I’m leaning more towards the sellier style but it makes sense what you mentioned about the more casual look in retourne
I am excited to finally try out one of Demellier's pieces. I think the Kelly is sellier is superrrrr chic but for me personally, I think I love the softness of the retourne better 🥰
I scored a New! Bottega in simple woven style about speedy 25 size. Very roomy and has a beautiful slouch. I found it at Saks outlet store for $1000. Absolutely my love and unexpected find- their leathers are softest. And they do last. I have refinished and flipped several that are 30+ yrs old and can attest they are hard wearing. Fendi sturdiest in my opinion. I have not experienced Hermes yet. Happy 2025❤
I have heard that BV leather is very soft and durable.I may have to check out my BV outlet and see if maybe I can start off there before spending a few thousands on one of their bags 🙂 Thanks for sharing.
Hi May, lovely video!! I ordered the Husdon tote from Demellier London in mocha brown suede and I was so excited to receive it, felt very Hermes B35 to me!! However I was underwhelmed by the dullness and texture of the suede. IMO I did not believe it warranted the $745 (Demellier offers 15% on their website but I snagged it from Luisaviaroma). I ended up returning the bag, however the leather handles, buckle, and base indicate their grain leather is great so I think u will luv their NY leather tote in burgundy, that color is gorgeous and so you!! ❤ It may just be that there suede is not on par
I really like their minimal styles honestly. If you can find it in the website I personally dont think they are tooo over priced (some styles anyways) from people that have the Margo they say the leather is very nice.
