    I also made a filter by using cotton. But the water flow isn't good. Why so happened??? Is cotton good for aquarium???? Your ideas doubled or thriblled the filtering process. Great job...👍👍👍👍

      Suresh Kumar hi friend. Thanks so much. Cotton is ok to use although it is a very fine material and will clog up very quickly which would slow flow..

      @@AngelosFishTanks for sure bro ; i will buy some later... for now ; i have dubbel chinese sponges , i upgrade most of them with aquael mini pat ( 400L./H. , with venturi O2 on the outflow) like mark's shrimps did in his aquael vid , bit i miss the bio medias ! Hope Mark will do also new vid on his big bio medias upgrades !!!

      @@AngelosFishTanks please : ruclips.net/video/Vuizx5DaI5k/видео.html Mark is awesome ; but we think both that aquael , brand of Poland , is still unfortenly only adapted for european market , hope they will make it for you too !!!, cause i realy love this brand , cheap , simple & efficient ; i can tell you even if Mark brook his one in 3 weeks , i bought a mini uv ,led sterilysator from aquael the 10th of november now , & still working ( i mostly use it 6 hours a day ) ; & i can rotate in all my tanks , cause i have at least one dubbel sponge filter in all my set ups , sometimes like main , or secundary filter

      chris one bxl I just checked the video. It’s an awesome mod. I actually have a lil filter like that somewhere in the fishroom 🤷‍♂️. It isn’t the same brand but it’s very similar I bought it about a year ago I added it to a 10 gallon to add a bit of flow. It worked well I since removed it. I honestly never thought of this thanks for sharing the video. Maybe I’ll try to find it and use it 😊

    Good Idea! One can never have enough bio media filtration!! The clear plastic container is a good idea as well - it allows for you to watch the progression of bacteria growth. I however would heat up an old piece of steel rod the same size as you need that way it won't crack the plastic lid or container.

      Yeah it does the trick, but I might change it to a glass bottle or something else, not sure yet. But for what it's needed it certainly does the trick.

    Question I'm planning on putting a sponge filter in my aquarium, can you add another sponge filter on top of the main filter, like instead of the thing you created place another sponge with tubes etc

      Mundo Money hi friend. Yes you can I have it done in a few tanks. You simply take the sponge filters pieces apart and they can connect together to add a double sponge.
