Problem for Max is that he’s not only fighting with the other 19 drivers, but also FIA. Is that a fight he can win?

Cam, with 6 rookies on the grid, it's going to open up the championships. There will be so many red flags all year long. Therefore, if you do not qualify in the top 5, you may be stuck in a pack that could be very unpredictable.
But max has had DNF’s and still won the championship. A ban wont hurt this dude, specially if the threat is lando again😂

Of all the felt I ever felt, I never felt a piece of felt which felt as fine as that felt felt, when first I felt that felt hat's felt.
I dont know why but i have a feeling that McClaren are resting on their laurels. The other teams have caught up i reckon. While the Ferrari duo will work as a team i think the Lando and Piastri pairing will run into trouble. Maybe I am wrong, time will tell. I cant wait for the season to start

Seems like you have a better understanding than the bookies do Cam. Norris is a bottler, can't handle pressure, we saw it in Brazil last year. He had an open goal, only had to take the shot, but he failed big time, shot it over into the stands. So yeah, it's going to be Max, you got that one completely right.
Do you think LH has the experience and gravitas to override the Ferrari pits when he thinks they have made a bad a call? When Sainz took charge it went well.

Hear you, but it's still allowed to flex a tad too much imho so they could potentially also nail it? Like to see 2mm + 6-7mm flex max, don't provide any room to play with it other than natural movement but just me so?
Max doesn’t need the quickest car, just a little slower is enough for him.

It appears the cam bends over backwards not to be viewed as too partisan a LH fan. When have you seen Lewis in a good racing car that he’s comfortable with finish 6th?? Cam’s prediction. He’s colored by ‘24 when you should be thinking more like ‘23 when with the 3rd or 4th fastest car he challenged Checo for 2nd in the WDC. If SF-25 is the top car Lewis wins the championship. If it’s with .1-.2s of the McLaren he wins the championship. I think Juan Pablo is more in the ballpark of what is possible.
There are assumptions user. Good racing car with which he's comfortable. How do you know? Why will '25 be more like'23 than '24. Confirmation bias any?
@ Well, if you look at this logically Cam you can get to my conclusion..😊. Was ‘24 just the car or were there some team dynamics that contributed to a lack of confidence and LH not sometimes having the best version of the car? You have to conclude team dynamics were involved - him being the departing driver. It would happen for anyone in a highly competitive environment. The SF-24 was a very competitive car and came within 14pts of WCC, if trajectory is similar with a brand new SF-25 and you assume Lewis is a better driver than Sainz then the win WCC. When in ‘23 Lewis planned to stay and was competing for an extended contact, he beat a very good GR by 60 pts although tied 11-11 in quali. All early indications is that he likes the Ferrari car and he’s motivated to come to grips with it in a team that wants him to succeed. My prediction is Lewis will be in the top 3 for WDC and depending on how good the Red Bull is and how far ahead the McLaren is relative to Ferrari, he could be 1,2 or 3.
Best rookie Gabriel Bortoleto, not gaining the most points, but showing the best driving skills.
McLaren will win the constructors championship with points evenly spread by Lando and Oscar.
Driver championship will be for Max!

I agree completely. I would like Charles fo be second, but I think McLaren will be faster and more consistent. Lando had lessons, but he doesnt know how to fix what he needs to. Also Ferrari and McLaren drivers will take points lff each other, while red bull is devoted to Max winning
Impossible to say anything at this time. We can only speculate how the drivers will stack up against eachother in each team. And even that is very difficult not knowing the balance of the cars as we have seen with RB last season.
Finally this is the video I been waiting for max for the 5th time world champion. You are a legend Cam!!!!!
Lando only wins if he has a dominant car most of the season, he's good but Max is on a different level of every other driver barring Alonso but I'm not convinced Max or Fernando will have the best car or even a truly competitive car. if red bull gives max a competitive car then he could still win the championship he's that special

I'm still backing Lewis to beat Charles. You say Father Time is undefeated, but to that I offer a counter: Ronnie O Sullivan. The guy defied Father Time and no matter what the decade he put himself at the top of the sport. A happy Hamilton is a Hamilton that Leclerc can't match.
@@Zoom15000 agreed. I am shocked that so many people underestimate Lewis vs Charles. I get that Charles is a very fast driver having been at Ferrari for a long time. But even Max, Horner, Juan Pablo Montoya and even Martin Brundle still believe Lewis can still win.
@user-sq2xu9re3j he went from half a lap away from becoming an 8 time champion in 2021 to absolutely nowhere in 2022. The natural slowdown because of age doesn't drop your performance off a cliff like that; his decline was about other factors, such as the car, the direction and confusion the team were taking/causing, maybe general discontentment at Mercedes. Potentially a whole host of reasons.
Is Hamilton slower than in his prime? Very probably, but give him a car to compete and let him be happy and he will be back up fighting at the top again. I think there is going to be a lot of talk from pundits/commentators/influencers this season about how they didn't see Hamilton's performances coming.

Think about if you had been racing at the top for 8 years and in ‘22 the car is sloooow… he literally spent half the season trying to help the team fix the car so he could get back up there. He wasn’t concerned about George. When he in ‘23 decided they got the regs wrong and he just raced what he had he competed for 2nd with Checo in the 3rd or 4th fastest car. ‘24 was all about leaving the team and with a car still not good enough. When the car was good he won silverstone and spa and was 3rd in Hungary. If he has a competitive car all season. Lewis will be hard to beat and very competitive. Ppl thinking he’ll have another’24 are just not reading the dynamics..

Cameron, you know I am a Max fan…but if Max doesn’t win …then your driver and the toughest opponent of Max: Lewis!!!! Besides seeing Max win his 5th…it’s a fairytale to see an unicorn in the f1, who brought diversity in this sport, win his 8th!

I wont lie Cam, I understand that you base your opinion on recent performance. But within that there are subcategories that haven’t been factored.
In the case of Lewis Hamilton, when given a competitive car majority of the time he is in the top 2 of the championship wining races and performing under the highest of pressure.
Since 2021 Lewis hasn’t had a car to challenge, however whenever the car was able to compete during those years 2022-2024 he won. So to put him in 6th with arguably the 2nd best car (if ferrari delivers) clearly tells me you have forgotten what happens when you give Lewis a chance to win a championship.

The Floyd analogy was in reference to the hbo 24/7. In its marketing genius it would convince boxing fans to disbelieve the evidence of their own eyes and ears - that Floyd was as close to unbeatable as there has ever been in the sport. The doc made us believe, through hype, that his gl fights would be competitive. I won't allow Ferrari's hype machine up pull the same trick on me.
As for father time, even Floyd couldn't escape it. I'd never seen him get caught by an uppercut. Ever. Until Conor McGregor did it. Ergo, even the great Floyd Mayweather slowed with the onset of father time, who is still Undefeated, undisputed, pound for pound, has never lost a round.
Max will take another step forward as a driver, as we know self improvement is what drives him. Lewis will be mediocre, Charles will out perform him. Hadjar will do well.

Red Bull will have a clean sweep in 2025. WDC and WCC with a mighty engine performance by Honda in their last year together.
Charles Leclerc will be the runnerup and it will be as close as ten points.
There will be a coming together at Monza by teammates and one Kimi Antonelli will pick up the pieces alongside one Liam Lawson and another rookie.
Lewis will have an unexpected but controversial podium.
Mclaren will have an interesting change of fortune but not where the car is concerned.
Aston Martin will anounce an never expected departure within the team.
The tide turn will within the FIA and the opnions on that will be all over the place.
The smartest cheater has a big chance. Last year we have learned that all the top teams are good at that 😅. Very curious what creativity we get in this respect.

@ Hell no, merc has shown they have no clue of ground effect aero ever since the new regs started. No reason to believe they would suddenly do better than RB, ferrari and McKaren. They can be happy if they perform better than the latter two.

I think Leclerc is the only one that’s going to be on max’s level as far as extracting everything out of the car and not making mistakes. That’s lap after lap. Race after race. Not a quali lap. I can’t say the same for Norris. The question is who’s going to have the car to be at the front.

And even if his Qualifying would fail him, as long as the car is good he always was faster than George and sometimes he whole grid.
Not to forget: Prost outqualified an older Lauda and Lauda won. Senna outqualified an older Prost and Prost still won.

If you watch the video before casting aspersions, at the outset I state the oddsmakers' probabilities. This is my framework. I outline my assumptions, explaining why my expected values are different from theirs. But you didn't watch the video, so you wouldn't know this.

Love your prediction Cam but as much as I want max to win his 5th I doubt it'll happen. Max will very likely get a race ban if RB21 Is competitive which is unlikely. I still think Lando will win his first as the MCL still have the technical advantage.... As for Ferrari, it's a mystery and I agree that Lec will beat Ham this year... From what I see in F2, I think Kimi is a little overrated. I'll take Lawson if he's even considered a rookie.

I think Ver may not be 1:st, but hear what you say, just have a feeling they cannot sort the car, hope I am wrong though cause equal machinery across the board at very least half the grid would be such good TV.
I also think Ferrari could potentially do a bit better, who knows maybe Mercedes too? This is so hard, truly is and time will tell. I don't think Kimi will that much faster as implied back in his 2024 go right before the crash, these guys min speeds are too close to see one of them just go that much faster, that would produce insane lap times across a lap, but he will do well I am sure.
Everyone remember when a young Fernando was racing against Michael Schumacher is Comet was Michael has a family he's thinking about his kids he no longer has despite to make the decisions that are crucial Max will having a kid slow him down😮

Wrong, Max is unlike the others. He doesn't do curses, but breaks them. He does not follow the beaten path. Having a child makes Max only go faster, not slower.

Lulu even knew Max was the only threat, referring to him as "that guy", lulu was scared of him and only of him. The FIA didn't f anyone over but Max that season with their biased stewards. Try watching the 2015 to 2021 seasons, you clearly don't remember any facts.

Russell second, that's spicy. While i don't expect merc to be anywhere near good enough and i don't really like Russell to begin with, it would be the funniest scenario. Hamilton leaving just as merc starts outpacing ferrari, the laughs will be heard far and wide if that happens.

Oscar : he is still in the Rookie category just two years into F1, he has the pace and the performance. Only the tyre management he is trying to fix for the whole race, if he gets that right this year like most rookies learn in 2 or 3 years, he could easily be the lead McLaren driver giver that his ceiling will be much higher that that of Norris.
Until now, Norris Is Better in everything
@sscpiero2013 yes, Norris is better till end of last year, once the tyre management is fixed he will get the Sector 3 timings and also comparative race pace.

@sscpiero2013 that case as per last year Norris was not stronger than either Charles or Max. Max lot of them saw, Charles watch Brazil again you will know what I mean here, Charles easily sets Norris up and passes him. Norris makes a mistake but at Charles case he repeats a mistake, in short racecraft was lacking from Norris in that instance.
Take the other side of McL, Oscar was passed by Max using a move, Oscar tried the same move on Liam immediately within the same race but he failed and spun Liam, but kudos to Oscar to learn from what he saw and have the courage and confidence to try it in a few laps time.
There are instances which make a character shine, Brazil GP was that race for Oscar, Liam, Gasly, Ocon and the obvious Max.
@DineshKumar-iu5pl you are assuming that piastri Will became Better in all his issue while Norris not, that Is possibile and Is the only possibility for oscar, that Is a Great driver, to beat Norris. If both are at 100% there no way that oscar Will beat Lando, he Is very strong, but Norris Is Simply more talented.
Cameron needs to go back and read line by line at the records Lewis has broken because he has obviously forgotten who is talking about. Or those google Adsense from Max fans are holding the channel together. Either way we will be here at the end of the season to see smug or egg on your face. My prediction, Lewis beats max in 2025.
