I have an issue with the Nigerian issue. I have met notorious Nigerians here in America as well as very nice and prayerful Nigerians. The sad part is, those bad ones have messed everything for all the Nigerians. I however don't think it's right to categorize them all as bad. It's the same way that we kikuyu are seen as all bad by other kenyans tribes but we also know that its not true and this does hurt us in a way when we relate with these other people, and we also know that not all kikuyus are bad and other tribes also have their weaknesses. And another thing a Nigerian friend told me is, those who are not true to God are easy to attack spiritually but if someone is true to God it's hard for those Nigerians to attack them. I personally dont know where we as a country rank on these levels of success in the western world. Please don't destroy all those people. Right now, the whole Africa is working towards unification and working one as a state so we can grow because we have potential to grow. But such kind of generalized bias will not aid in this endeavor. And if I we are honest, even our own men have a problem. It is common knowledge that there are those who drink a lot and neglect their family duties, others pick up girlfriends as soon as they start to be successful and neglect their family duties and others have been involved in serious crime such as fraud and have no association with the Nigerians and these crimes have been documented in various news platforms. So we are also not perfect or unique. And at the same time we have our men who are exceptional, and are doing very well and are very present in their family. So, we also have our own problems as a people. I think what is wise is to address these issues and avoid generalization which can lead to bias conditioning of the population by choosing the words we use carefully. And being biased in this way will make us create our own echo chamber where we learn to listen to our own opinions. And this is dangerous because we as a nation will not be able to listen to other people when they try to correct us or advise us because it doesn't resonate well with what we think of ourselves. When we remove bias, we will be able to address the issues that are putting us behind as a people as well as be able to listen to other people when they advise us and also be able to observe other people who are doing better than us and learn from them. I think the case of some Nigerians behaving badly can be used to showcase an example of how a failed government can push people to desperate measures and build such a bad reputation for their people all over the world. Because even if these Nigerians make the money, they can't live safely in Nigerian because of insecurities and don't invest much there because of the same reason. So we as a people should work hard and make sure our country never gets to that level. Also, these issues about how people get paperwork in America, don't you think it would be wise to consult a legal team to advise you guys abouts what you can put on air or not? Because you may put Kenyans in trouble here if investigations take place on how people survive here. Those are just my thoughts.
