Yes, most of mine taste like vanilla pudding. You can't go wrong with any variety.

Every variety I have has the same cold tolerance. Once established, they are fine down to -5°C.

Are white sopate invasive? An do they need full sun or partial sun with some shade. Can you grow them in containers?

They can grow very large if let go, so prune a few times a year. Some varieties might work in pots, I never tried.
