I agree with you. The Pyxis seems great and I do love the full-frame sensor, but I'll probably wait a bit for all of their full frame cameras to get more affordable/even better.
Congrats. I got mine just over a month ago as well. I love it. Much heavier than my fully rigged out 6K but phenomenal camera. Just wish it had dual native ISO.
I got mine used from Borrow Lenses and it's easily the best decision I've ever made for a camera. This is such and underrated camera in every aspect and the capabilities along with ease of use is something that people don't take the time to appreciate. Congrats on the pickup and welcome to the club!
Not that overkill! The Cine on the other hand. The 12k measurement on this sensor is actually more to do with the photosite layout and count more so than 12k.
This camera is lit man. I would pick this over the Pyxis. And i sure cannot wait for the Blackmagic URSA Cine 12K to be affordable in some years.

enjoy it! Picked up the ursa g2 not too long ago and absolutely love it im sure the 12k has to be killer!
Yessir! The 12K is so dope & honestly doesn’t eat up as much data as you think at 8K 👀

thank you! I truly believe that people under-estimate the image coming out of this camera. I am super happy I went with it!
Amazing 🙌🏻 the footage looks incredible!
@@BrandonBurket thanks bro! Preciate you watching to the end!
I don't know nothing about cameras, I just got this in my recommended. How did they miss the opportunity to call this the "Ursa Minor" 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️.
lol that's hilarious that you got this in your recommended hahaha! Thanks for stopping by
Congrats 🎉. Awsome camera. What Media are you using?
Thank you! I use C-Fast cards and occasionally SSDs, but rarely. I have a 512GB and a 256GB (Sandisk and Angelbird)
Excited to see what you do with this!
I've been debating on either this one or the 4.6k g2 😅
I have a friend who used the 4.6K for years. It's also very solid, but for the price of a used 12K - I feel like its a no-brainer!
Let’s Goooo!
@@Ammez2000 can’t explain how exciting it is!! So excited to get it on a few productions!
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Also we needa run up bros subs
@@Ammez2000 hahaha right? 😂 I probably need to be consistent first

Can you explain that more?
