pretty sure that switch is gonna have some temp issue later on, installing the heatsink on top of the modchip? pretty sure there's gonna be quite a gap there. Add in the fact that you didn't seemed to replace the thermal paste that goes in between the heatsink and the metal shield for the cpu/apu. like i know the modchip is shit, but that installation isnt great either.
It is not a stupid design. You installed it wrong. Your are suposed to bend it the other way. You did it in hard mode 😂 However, i think i'm going to use the 3in1 next time, because the placement is better
@@obnoxiousmods yes. I don't like that you have to cut and how sharply it bends. The yellow ribbon is perfectly fine when installed correctly. Check other videos to see how people do it, we all make mistakes
How would you install it? I‘ve been looking for some install videos of this specific combo of the new ribbon cable fpc with töhis chip and I couldn‘t find any. I can‘t visualize your explanation D:
I think with the ribbon cable if you flipped both the same way it might have been a bit easier because you don’t have tension in 2 different directions. Maybe not but meh
@@obnoxiousmods the ribbon cable you were have trouble with. If you folded it down and under instead of up and over. It would have been easier. If I get the kit and install it I’ll make a video showing you what I mean.
the lite adapter only goes in one way. the picofly lite is a piece of shit, solution to that “issue” is to use a Picofly 3 in 1 or Instinct 3 in 1, they are 0 cutting and the lite adapter is way way way nicer and better to install and more reliable

Thats why I don't buy picofly lites anymore :) & the thermal paste on the apu gets replaced but I don't bother with the rest unless it looks awful

@@FabioKastro even if i installed it wrong, i think this kit is the worst possible kit for the Lite
not only because i think the flex bending is beyond stupid but because you have to cut away pieces of the shielding
