Thank you! I’m pretty sure Jazza did a forced perspective diorama once, but he chose a difficult angle. Because I chose a full frontal view the effect is very strong, I think. (I chose this angle because it is easier to build though, not because I had any idea that it would work better or anything 🙈)
This is SO COOL!!! You are super talented. The forced perspective, the way you sculpted his clothes. The brown wash on the face makes him look like a wolf man though lol. I love it!
Thanks so much for this video. I've been trying for weeks to figure out how to determine the distance of the focal point in a container. Was so simple but was just going over my head. Got a new follower. Thanks
Very effective; both the false-perspective layout and the painting! As far as I could tell, there is nothing wrong with the way you painted the vampire. 250th like.
Thank you! The acting parts still seem a bit awkward (to me at least), but they’re fun to make! I also feel like they make the video more enjoyable to watch.
Amazing and inspiring. I would love to see more forced perspective dioramas. Subbed! My only quirk with this is that the brightness of the moon draws my eyes in so much more than the vampire.
Thank you! I think you are right that the moon draws a bit too much attention. I was hoping the LED would be a little bit stronger, so that it would light up the vampire a bit more.
youd always be looking at the piece or photographing it in lit conditions (in order to see everything). If you looked at it in the dark the warm glow would be much more prominent, but then you wont see much. So youd have to paint in the lighting to be brighter. Painting the warm light on a lot more of the body and the face.
Your videos are always a treat, I love the perspective trickery... even knowing that you used false perspective I was completely fooled the moment the clay went down. The whole project has so much ambiance you can feel the cold night blowing in from that window. Absolutely fantastic.
Amazing work as always, I love all the different mediums at play. The forced perspective is very convincing! For the dice/book box, you could add a ribbon to the bottom to help with getting the books out.
Holy shit that effect's SO cool😮🤯😍 and your sculpting skills are impressive! I've never understood how it's actually possible to do any fine work on either green stuff or milliput... I can handle well only plasticine and polymer clay so far
Thank you very much! It takes a bit more time to get used to epoxy clays, since you have to work in the time that it sets, but definitely worth the effort!
I knew you could make crazy things like this, but seeing these process videos they really blow my mind on how skilled you are. 🤯 Also, the skits in the video are great! Don't quit your day job for acting, though ;)
I will point the 2 main problems of this very patient and skillful work. First, it looks like it's a random adventurer walink in a castle, not a vampire lurking and wandering in the castle. I think the pose is the problem, with the lantern and the blade. Second, the fact is too dark, especially for a vampire, and that comes from the fur collar, which is white. A dark color, like a red, or kingly blue or deep green would have contrast way more better with a very pale skin, making it almost glowing in the dark, which is totally a vampiric effect. I hope that my critic don't bring down an incredible detailed work. Thank you for sharing it!
@@atelier_AG Well, your video was very interesting and inspiring for my own creations. The least I could do, in comparison of your many hours of patient work, is trying an interesting and helpful critic. Please do continue to display your creations like this!
Really beautiful
Thank you! 😁
This is unbelievably good! I think it's odd I haven't seen a forced perspective diorama until now but the effect is mesmerizing.

Holy ****. You gave me so much inspiration with this video! thank you!
glad to be of service 😁

Thank you so much! The face is definitely not right 🙈 Luckily it looks a little bit better in real life with the lantern on 😊

Glad the video helped! I thought my description might be hard to follow, but apparently it’s good!
The way you figured out how to create perspective is exciting and super helpful. Great video. 👌🏻👌🏻
Thank you Ames! Super happy I was able to capture how I made it!

250th like.
Thank you! I think I’m just less patient when it comes to painting, so I tend to be more critical on it. But I’m glad you like it!
I’m really impressed with the attention to detail & great quality guidance you gave here, thank you!
Thank you! I'm always worried my explanations aren't good, but hearing that they are clear is amazing!
This is amazing. It has such a spooky 3D comic book feel. ❤❤❤
Thanks! So happy that the effect worked so well.
This is a fantastic piece! I love your use of forced perspective and the colours! 😍🤩
Great object source lighting in this build. Also, kudos on adding some acting to the video; cool to see your personality more!

Thanks for such a lovely response! Going into the project I had no idea the effect would be this convincing. I was equally surprised! 😅
Absolutely amazing! You are so gifted.

Thank you so much! Mr Vampire and I are very grateful
INSANE! Always worth the wait with you :)
Thank you! I feel a bit ashamed for not finished video earlier, I can’t believe it took more than a year 🙈
Amazing work! Crazy talent! Keep up the awesome work!
Thanks! Already working on my next video 😊

Thank you so much! The ribbon idea is great! I will see if I have some ribbon lying around somewhere and attach it, thanks!
This came out so cool! Well done!
Thank you! Very proud of this one! 😊

Great work. For the lighting though - look up OSL techniques for miniature painting.
Thanks! I know of OSL techniques, but I'm still getting better at them. I guess trying to do OSL and an LED in one piece doesn't really work 😅
Nicely done,
Thanks!
That’s pretty good!
Thank you!
My wife know what a Groin Vault is. She keep it locked up all the time

Haha thank you Erwin! Maybe eventually I can go to Hollywood to start my acting career, but I agree I’m not ready yet 🙈
Do you have a list of the products you used? Really cool!
great idea, love it!
Looks amazing, great job, man! Neil deGrasse Tyson will contact You about that sky :)
