I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for...
I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree, I’d suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following her advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets, Up to 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.

I found a woman I loved that had a son that was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 11. I am a Christian but I felt like I was starving to balance out my strife. I often look at homes that I wish I’d had to stay motivated
Remeber that if you bilieve in the Gospel, that Jesus is the son of God and that He died for your sins so God could offer you His FREE GIFT of salvation, you are saved, for ever, and nothing is expected from you from the moment you biieved on. Don't let nobody tell you that you need to do ANYTHiNG else to have peace with God, like repenting from your sins or that you need to pray in a certain way or anything at all. Jesus did it all, and He is not expecting anything from you except to enjoy his free gift that you are saved and covered by His blood, for ever. God bless!

Love this house! However I’d rather have 4 large bedroom suites instead of 6 bedrooms. The bedrooms are small for the square footage. Love the decor! A lot of space for driveway. Love the outdoor design of the house! Contemporary, my style!!! Thank you

Very nice! And it's in my town. Southlake is a great place...if you can afford the real estate there. I have a place on S. White Chapel and let me say that the school district (Carroll ISD) is the best. While this house is lovely, it just doesn't work for me. It is a new construction, but it looks like a CA or NV spec home. I prefer more warmth and character instead of boxes of straight lines, right angles, and a sterile appearance. Oh, and that master bath...I know there is a fence there, but still, they really need to get some window treatments for the window there. Lastly...all that lawn is going to be a killer to maintain, especially in the summer months. The water bill alone will be hundreds of dollars on top of a lawn care service that will run you ~$1k every month.

This contemporary home reminds me of homes back on my island, the only thing is, they made the hallways so narrow and made changes to reduce some spaces in the home to enlarge certain rooms.
I so love the song in the vid. I live in a rural neighborhood, but the music made me forget I am in the rural and made me feel like I was hours away back in my big urban home area. I don't hate the rural; I am just more of a big city/urban suburban type. More importantly, bless your very spirit on the Good News, especially highlighting the word Repentence and too too important not to idolize except idolize Christ.

This house is essentially "brand new" (2022 construction) and is for sale with an asking price $3.85m. Another house on the same road is also for sale at $1.99m. It is slightly smaller (by 200 sq ft) but similar lot size. Imho, it has more charm and detail even if it is 12 years old. Southlake is a very expensive suburb of Dallas. Only Westlake, Highland Park, and University Park could be considered at par or better (real estate value wise). Southlake also has one of the best school systems in the region (Carroll ISD)...10/10. I have a place nearby on the acclaimed and highly desirable S. White Chapel Blvd. Another highly desirable location in Southlake is Dove Rd. If you are not already in TX and considering looking to come here, remember to give full weight to property taxes in your "affordability" calculations. For example, the house in this video is likely to have a property tax bill of around $70k-$80k per year. While that might seem "insignificant" compared to the purchase price, we have to understand that it is the equivalent of the median household income in the US...before taxes.

Most Dallas architecture is hideous, but this home really is quite lovely. I’m ready for ceilings taller than 12 feet to phase out. It doesn’t lend itself well to human-scaled spaces.

That is a better estimate of true market value, though with the current (strong) market, houses are selling above that. That is why the nearby sellers are "only" asking 1.99 (assessed at 1.281 but 1.12 with homestead exception).
