Hey guys, hope you enjoy the video. Sorry if we missed some stuff out, there was a lot to see at the show! What do you think of us upgrading to a bigger sprayer?! Also it was great to see the guys from Four Winds Farm! If you haven’t already, go and check them out on RUclips!
Enjoyed the tour thanks for filming it all. Will you be going to Lamma? Would be great to say hello in person if you are. Although must be weird getting recognised by strangers!
Clarkson has changed to a 6 meter weaving sabre tyne drill. 30 meter trams with a 6 meter drill would make tramlines nice but you also have to think about liquid fert and solid fert spreaders striping risks, I think you have a good system now with the big tyre and row crops on different tractors.
Yes. I agree. The first thing he did was relate to the potential customer (Saw the trailer backing challenge..). Then he shut his mouth and listened. Far better impression than the sprayer salesman who whilst providing interesting information tended to sound like a human brochure. All mouth and no ears.
The unimogs are both hand drive! You pull out some pins and slide the wheel and pedal assembly from one side to the other! It’s a very smart and nifty feature!
Being a 30 year Japan resident, I got quite excited when I saw that Iseki tractor! A very familiar sight for me. That size tractor is the general and most ubiquitous type here. The rice fields are generally small in size as they need to retain water during the planting and initial growth stages of the rice plant. Since the fields are small, these Japanese tractors of these sizes generally have an excellent turning circle. In the UK, they would probably make excellent mucking out tractors in cowsheds amongst other yard duties. Futhermore, since they are designed to operate in deep mud (a flooded rice field), they also have been designed that they don't get stuck so easily. Something the actor who plays the Millennial Farmer may find particularly interesting!
Nick & Dad, thanks for the equipment show. I like our Gator Deluxe cab with full glass doors better because of visibility, no rattle and unique style. They are made in Austria you know. Good quality. Wish my exhaust system didn't rust out so quickly. Salty winter roads here❄️🥶🥶🥶👎 Cheers👍🇺🇲
I wouldn't be surprised to see a case tractor on the farm in the future. John Deere's loss is Case's gain those Sharmans guys seem really passionate about their product and that's half the battle with machinery good dealer support
It was a great day and seeing you have made a video considering we had bit of wet Day. The John Deere combine was my main reason I went and Thought New Tractor from Claas was good looking machine! I spoke prices and I think we will stick to Claas for now. We Farm 3000 and a bit acres contracting but there is no way we have the roads to fit a machine of that capacity considering we have to drive through Villages going from field to field.
Nick's Farm and Four Winds Farm together! Won't RUclips break if you guys are together for more than 2 minutes? Also if you guys are all here. Whose looking after the farms?
This was w really enjoyable video great to see all the various kits on display now the new Gator would definitely be a great addition to your farm at some stage 👍👍
@@NicksFarm It would be better if they were also made in RHD though. Interesting fact for everyone is that ATVs over 50cc and vehicles like the Gator cannot be made street legal here in Japan although some farmers can register them as agricultural vehicles. Why ATVs up to 50CC are okay but those above not is a mystery known only to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (aka 国土交通省= kokudo-koutsuu-shou).
Great vid Nick if I had remembered that show would have gone along only an hour up the A1 for me. Think a sprayer woukd be a good idea with the 30m boom cover the ground quicker and less travel time.

Nice to see some British love for the Grenadier, continue the discussion at THE INEOS FORUM
Salesman Mark is a legend.
Total legend 👍

Great video Nick 👍 lot of interesting content but glad to see u kept the best of the best till last 👌👌
Cheers Bob 👍
A lot of Unimogs now have the ability to be both Left and Right hand drive you can slide the steering column from side to side to side.
Nice show walk around thanks for the tour. Stay safe 🏴
Thanks Ian 👍
Great video nick @your dad there is a lot of nice machines there 👍👍👌👌
Thanks Sandy 👍

Hey Nick great video enjoyed that! was really cool to meet you and your dad, you guys have a brilliant channel, thanks for the mention! 👍
No problem was great to see you there 😁👍
If the unimog was fitted with Variopilot the operator can switch the vehicle from left to right hand drive in no time at all. Another good video, 👍
That’s interesting John thanks, didn’t know that 👍

Dealer makes the difference!
That landquip fastrack looks like a good set up. Built not far from me here in suffolk.
Yeah did look good 👍
@@NicksFarm don't let Hayley see that new gator she will be wanting an upgrade for sheep checking.
Haha yeah she will 😆
We have a 6155r on our farm...it's a great factor for what we need it to do 💯
Cool video nick. Really enjoyed it. Some lovely machinery there.
Thanks John 👍
Cool video your dad's great crack👍
Cheers Paul 👍
Hi Nick, brilliant video, glad to see you saved the very best tractor make till last 👍👌
Thanks mate, yeah sure did 😂😂👍 do love a Case
Best one yet nick and dad, hope you take your dad to the classic tractor show at Newark on sat or Sunday 👍, think the pipe on the combine is for fuel,
Thanks Richard 👍

Be interesting to see if people will still be able to afford this expensive machinery when the subsidies end. Cos machinery is only going up and up
Really great vid today Nick!
Thanks Barry 👍
Cracking video nick, if you get self propelled sprayer it a be another tractor sitting doing nothing. Some great kit there.
Thanks mate, If we did then it would be second hand, depends how it all pans out moving forward, lots of changes with farming to come!!
Really good video as always nick, and saw the four winds team! Great highlighting brit farming. Keep up the good work
Thanks was a good day 👍
Great video nick👍
Cheers Kevin 👍
Talked to Matt a few times good lad...
Hi nick. Great video again mate. I bet you spent thousands in your mind today? 😂😂
Thanks Jon and yes hahaha

Thanks for the video. Great to see the new machinery. You were looking fondly at the Case. Is there a swap coming ??
I thought the JD -625 was a big fella the 7R & 8RX just giants .......and the case who things have moved on from the little Grey Ferguson
This was w really enjoyable video great to see all the various kits on display now the new Gator would definitely be a great addition to your farm at some stage 👍👍
Think that was my favourite machine there to be honest 👍👍

If your looking at self propelled sprayers I would definitely take a look at the bateman their boom leveling takes some beating

Was a good show to be fair, didn’t plan on going until a day or two before but was definitely worth it 👍
So what will you look at replacing next winter. Trailer sprayer another set of wheels ?
Great video nick that magnum is a monster tractor
Thanks, yeah sure is a beast 💪
I think the X9 is sitting around the £850,000 mark
🤯
Great video nick. A machinery show is a farmer’s dream. It’s just a pity that the prices of the machine’s are so astronomical
Thanks Paddy and yes you’re right!!
Is that a wizards staff
Just needs a beard then he’ll be Gandalf
Good video nick are you going self propelled if so Batman it’s British
Thanks Paul, yes they seem to be the one to go for 👍
