Imagine cruising down the lake and all of a sudden you see a Peterbilt coming towards you😳
train horn included
With Ed Cervick driving it!
😂😂😂
Great interview, I enjoyed how humble and honest this man was about what he built.
J
well its got the pre 77 dash in it.my dad had a 74 w a 400 big cam . 13speed . had to jump thru a hole just to get in the bunk. had air ride and a.c. on the roof. memories
They were called " coffin sleepers" 1 way in & 1 way out. The exciting part of the old roof a/c was when u went around a corner & all the condensation water came raining down INSIDE the cab .Course they didn't work so good anyway the cold water felt good in the summer .
Sweeet truck and boat cool video Chris
That's freaking awesome
Hah hah, I know Shane. Lemitar, NM is probably only 130 mi. from where we're at (short trip in NM!) Never knew they were working on this, but it's been several years since I've been over that way by Socorro. Nice rig man! Hope to see that PeterBoat chugging around down at Elephant Butte one of these days! Awesome job!😁👍👍
It is missing a mural of Peter griffin from Family Guy.A mural of Peter Griffin on the Peterboat would suit the Peterboat well.
Dammed that is so cool. I wanna get a Peterbuild just to ride around with now. Haha
Cool rig, cool dude.
Awesome!
I like the boat...maybe a bumper up front with a swivel fishin chair...🎩
I seen this in Monticello Utah.
Jeep guys knew about the power steering pump trick for years.
Thanks. Saw that rig in another video as it drove in.. Great to see it in detail... Where is ATHS national next year ?
Scrolled down to see if anybody else thought he just did a line....lol
I'd say he is not originally from New Mexico, ehh? sounds like he still has a lot of northern still in him, ehh?
Needs an old 5.9 Cummins in the pontoon!
JeepCherokeeful its a party barge, not a flying barge 🤣🤣🤣
WELLLLL
Smokwatersong
is that legal or ill eagle? He will need to go thru a weigh station before entering tha water
How much ya want for it
All that and we don't get to see it being used as a boat. And it is too bad you are hauling jet skis. Most obnoxious, environmentally unfriendly water craft ever devised.
New Mexican with Canadian accent. He must be one of those future people when we all merge
Wrong bud, that is the new mexico, arizona, and utah accent.
I’ve never met anyone from any of those places. Sounds Canadian to me. Which I have heard.
Actually I did know a girl from Utah she didn’t really have an accent though and her dad didn’t like me because I wasn’t down with that Jesus nonsense
@@22mrranger Sounds Canadian to me, don't cha know eh.
I've met Canadians that to me didn't have a accent really but I never asked what province they was from. I've heard ones that definitely had one. The ones that I didn't really pick up on a accent from didn't sound no different from somebody from way up north in the states.
I have known Shane most of my life. He is without doubt one of the best diesel mechanics in the USA. I have seen The Peterboat from the interstate, but haven't had the chance to see it up close. He is a friend and a great guy along with his brother Cale. It would be hard to meet better people anywhere.
73trident mcrider he seems like a great guy I would love to meet him and I would love to have a Peterboat!
I’ve been on and in the Peterboat. It’s insane! Also I’ve been inside the semi hanging out the roof lol
@@Slickedvisuals I have not climbed the ladder yet to into the Cabover sticking out the shop yet Next time out to Shane's shop I'm going to.
Wow his truck sounds good! That Peterboat is awesome. He and his crew are very talented. Great video Chris 👍
That is a bad ass build like a rat rod petercar pulling a petercar boat..lol
I’ve driven by his shop countless times right off I-25...I must stop by sometime!
A video on the water would just punch this up
The world needs folks like this, Awesome! Thanks Chris, stay safe. Pat. UK.
That cat is to smart of his own good. Nice work
I've heard of thinking outside the box , but this guy's thinking outside the boat ! There's some clever people out there. It's a bit big for UK roads.
Well done, that is some fine engineering! I would be showing this combo off at every show I could too.
Gotta love those detroit's
I never saw or heard of that before. My older son drove a big rig for 22 yrs. All the 11 Western States. He and wife lived in Fresno. God Bless you all. 🙏♥️♥️🥰🦋.🍔🌭🥞🍟👍. Cheers. Charlotte in Oregon
Im half tempted to get a craiglist special and an old reeferbtrailer to convert to a mobile home seeing this.
Brandon Caldwell that idea sounds cool
@@joshsummers8606 Hell ya, they make 60ft trailers. Can build slide out systems and all yourself. Full size garage in the rear too. It be a monster setup. I know Spacecraft RVs does it already, but nothing beats one built by your own 2 hands. Its be like a 5th wheel camper just full sides garage to take a car and tools. Sorta like the weekend warrior 5th wheel campers but bigger still.
His mouth said new Mexico but his accent says Minnesota.
It is cool to hear the guy talk about it. Because I have seen pics of it, but never seen who built it.
Thats gotta b the coolest boat ive ever seen! Nice job guys
You got to do a video of it on the water under way!!!
Name the Boat *Wake Brake* 👍
Really cool - can’t wait to see some videos of it in the water.
“Lemme drive da boat”
- Kodak Black
You should seriously make the hood articulate and fold open into more seats or even kayak racks
you should seriously consider dating me i loves white womerns
Lay an air mattress under the hood and it’s a camper boat. Awesome rig.
I could do without the boat, i just want the truck.
i wonder how it actually sits in the water. seems like a fair amount of weight sitting on the front.
Is that a 289 or a 359 converted to a 4x2?
That's awesome. I want one now lol
Always great to see our locals in New Mexico. Great job gooooo new mexico
ALL I CAN SAY IS DAMN IT , ruclips.net/user/ThePeterbiltrucker
FFWD to 13:30 if you want to see a wide (cover) shot.
Under the hood of the boat is a good place to put a generator.
Hi. That guy should have his own RUclips channel, cool cat, I think I have stopped by his shop looking for some old Diamond Rio parts? Those are hard to find out west anyways. Take care. Hawk out!!
👍👍👍👍👍👌👌💪😍😍😍😍😍 THANKS FOR THE TOUR!!!!
Get a cheap fishing boat brake it in half and attach it to the front like it got t-boned. That'll get others out of your way on the lake.
@Rodney Saunders thank you for telling me that. I'm so glad you are around to fix people's spelling mistakes.
Anyone notice the camera man totally tripping at 7:32
That thing is a total chic magnet in the marina. Cool
Very cool.. i want one ..
He should build Minnie Peterbilt Jetskis
Clever work, Gents! Maybe put your marine radio up in the visor. And under the hood could be where you stash the PFDs and throwable for John Law. Nice job!
Thank you for your video and I enjoyed watching your video, and your truck and boat with wave runners are the best ever I've seen in my life. Such a great idea you came up with on the pontoon boat just out of this world cool. My grandchildren would have a blast. You are very talented and the help you had. Thank you for your video and God Bless you and your family.Spec. V. B.
Well..more appropriate name would be Nautical Noah... but I see the logic for Peterboat... Noah ain't makin' yes / no decisions at The Pearly Gates...keep yer options open.. great in progress build... best to you and yours.
I just drove past that on my way to Tucson.
This guy has to be Jeese James relative.
New Mexico again that's great.
TRUCK YEAH! PETERBILLLLLLT
He's right about the people at ATHS shows, and that's because there ain't no loggers there😂😂
She should be running a 4-53T. At least then the thing would plane off unlike with the 4bt.
I seen this probably about a month ago going through salina Utah headed out of town a SR 50. I wish I could have gotten a better look at it. Awesome build!
💖💃🍹sweet. Great build
Did his “Pedro” /Peterbuild come with such a short wheelbase?
I have passed by this shop numerous times, he always has some bad ass rigs out front!!! Nice build hope to see it on the water some day!
should put a truck motor in there
Floating cb
As a retired Diesel Truck mechanic I Found this whole project awesome!
Semi truck boat interesting
This thing is pretty sweet in person, man if I knew u were there @bigrigvideos would have bin cool to meet you.
So, if I had the money I'd see if he'd be willing to commission to build a boat like that for me.
He should make the hood a small bed
Love their work. Seen it from the interstate. They also have some nice old cabover. 😃✌
That is beautiful Shane.
Damn that fucker is mint
Wow that is one cool truck
That red panel look amazing paint like that swap the same panel with the the same red paint in to all model's mack truck
Damn . What was he sniffing on. Awesome truck/boat tho.
“Right on”
Pedrobuilt & the peterboat lol
Boat looks better
awesome build very cool thanks for showing
Met a lot of cool people at the show and got some good pics of the PeterBoat. Awesome set up.
Seems like a cool dude
They forggat the tequila . Some taco s and guacamole on the dashbord.. .
In the mobile home ministry that's how they run their hitch in the back is from the power steering
This is awsome, love seeing things that are different and out of the box.
What model Kenworth was that toward the end?
jckgoldness w900
Does it roll coal?!
Awesome👏, had the same idea with freightliner 2 months ago😀
Nice rig. Hi from española NEW MEXICO
