I watched Shirley, last Sat., I hadn't seen Reina since What's Happening Now. I could feel a connection between the two of you. My heart went out to you both, not knowing you were blood related...I felt each sister's pain, losing the other
I enjoyed the movie and you both did phenomenal jobs. Shirley is one of favorite advocate. I was sad that many people did know who she was. We a story Barbara Jordan my other favorite.

When I comforted my mom about the origin of my name she reminded me of the story of how my name came to be and how she created it from a newspaper article and a picture of a reindeer. 🤷🏽♀️ Because she was expecting a boy and my Dad was still in Vietnam. When I told my name meant queen she tried to play it off that she knew already
