TwoShoes if nobody has told you. Thank you for being so authentic, and putting out high quality guidance for new creators. Twitch and RUclips are a bit of a jungle, and I love just tuning in to pick up the tips. Seriously thanks man, and keep being a boss :)
One thing you didn’t point out (at least I missed it) is how a lot of streamers should consider mirroring their facecam. I think it makes a lot of difference to have you in the facecam looking onto the gameplay or whatever’s in the middle instead of looking towards the border of the screen
DUDE! Thank you so much for the amazing feedback! I really appreciate it so much! :D I'm way over due for a channel trailer update mind you, will defo look into that, and playing with those sound settings. Thank you so much again!
This was a great idea and should definitely make a comeback! Although you forgot the over-the-top reactions and Simon Cowell-esque roastings, but there's always next time XD
Great video. Constructive criticism is worth its weight in Gold. This video shows you do care about other streamers and I hope they take your advice. I’m a pro video editor, so good presentation is what I strive for, my intro alone took a month to edit, and I actually get viewers now showing up just to see the intro. I’m currently working on a channel trailer after seeing your video. I didn’t even realise I could do one!
Yo! I just found your video two nights ago and have been marathoning through your videos. You've given me a lot to think about, especially in this video! Thank you for all you do.
These videos are bloody helpful for someone looking to get into this stuff right now. It's going to be a lot of work but having a sense of what's needed is much appreciated!
Super useful, really constuctive and good vibes all around. I love how you hyped up peoples originality and kept it positive. Very feel good, could watch this content regularly!
Loved the reviews, and as you said - you might get some ideas.... yep, been making notes. Thank you, and thank you to the folks who put themselves forward for review.
I’ve been streaming for 4 years since 2020 on twitch I like it it’s hard to I try only have a lot of internet fail problems for some reason and PC stuff happening
Wish I caught that tweet to throw my hat in! Just started streaming to Twitch with intent a couple of weeks ago. Slowly updating and taking what I learn from you and other channels, and what I see I like on other streamers' channels, and implementing it. Will definitely need to watch for the next time you offer to review channels!
Dan, very much loved this! Keeping my eyes out for a chance to submit for part 2 - always feel like you’ve got good, unique insight and after watching this I hope to take some suggestions on board (cough, channel trailer, cough)
yay first 7 mins, haven't watched yet but im excited! Edit - Great video, I really liked the bit where you commentated the Warzone game! Also, is that Mr Eljayem_ I see on the followers list 👀 p.s. the waving bee at 11:07 is a kappamon some of them are free theyre pretty cool Again, great video as always!
This was a really great idea, and very informative indeed! Thanks for the work you do xTwoShoes! A part 2 would definitely be appreciated, and if this shark wound up in that pool, I wouldn't complain! Either way, would love to see more!
This was amazing you're always so nice and everything, this is a good concept. I would have submitted if.. I wasn't Streaming in French but I'm writing all your advices!
Just a comment about panels. You suggested that the panels Curt had needed to be aligned. but those panels are dynamically placed depending on the window size being viewed in, so they not always easy to align for all window sizes. The commentary you did over his stream was excellent, but very few people can vocalize their thoughts, and more importantly most people can't act which is what you were doing. I would always suggest having a friend to actually talk to in discord or something, that way conversation is easy and no longer requires acting skills.
@@Clever_User_Name Some people are better suited to a podcast style of stream, where there is an actual conversation, so doesn't require acting skills.
@@nobodyimportant7380 I wouldnt call it acting cause you are really felling the emotions cause ur playing the game and things are happening, thats why when xTwoShoes gave an example on what to say for the COD guy it was clearly not a real reaction cause hes not an actor, but if u watch a stream where hes actually playing a game it feels much more real cause thats his real emotions
@@Clever_User_Name I Understand what you are trying to say, but... vocalising thoughts, is indeed acting, simply because it isn't a reaction, if it was reaction it would be rare to hear.
Would be very curious what your opinions on improving layouts for duo streamers would be! We have a small community of couples who game on the same channels and we're all always trying to figure out the best way to utilize that real estate and sharing ideas since it's not the usual and we can't just come to YT to find dozens of videos about it.
The thing about channel trailers is I'm pretty sure it's only for affiliates, I personally don't want to become an affiliate even though I have all the requirements. Really don't like the idea of viewers having to watch ads on my stream, the idea of it personally bugs me a lot. Good tips for the streamers though as always
I get what you mean. But ads do become a part of Twitch and although not perfect, I like to make sure I watch ads on my favourite creators streams as its a free way to support streamers:) For those reliant on Twitch as a means of income, they can be of help:) However, I fully understand your view and thanks for the kind words:)
I have a question if you’d be willing to answer! I just started streaming and for my first two streams I’ve been playing the same game. I think in the next two streams I’ll be able to finish my “goal” per se, and I don’t know if it’s a better idea to stay in this category or switch to a new game. I kind of want to play a different game, but I’ve read it might be more difficult to build a community by variety streaming too early. What do you suggest?
Weren't the about panels arranged according to your resolution? Like at least on my end they only show 2 rows ar a time on my monitor so the ordering can get pretty scuffed if your monitor can show extra rows and the streamer can't see it that way.
Hey! I just started streaming a a week ago, I’m only at 8 followers and 3 concurrent viewers 😭, i try to be engaging but nobody but my 3 guys watch my stream, how often should i be streaming? Is 3 hours a week to little?
You mentioned about having the "about me" section fleshed out and moving some panels around. I've had so much trouble with this because the panels move depending on the size of the screen viewing it so they are never I'm the order I want if I change screen sizes. Also most people view on mobile - would it be best to cater to mobile viewers?
How about rating a stream that is not in English. So you would be forced to reduce yourself to the technical, optical or sympathetic level without understanding the context. That would be great!
Be sure to check out my own stream and boom roast me there too! www.twitch.tv/xtwoshoes
why is royalty free music on streams not good? I am going stream hardcore soon ????????????????
9:56 agreed I also like commentary, it does help engage with the chat and makes things more entertaining
Appreciate the words man! I’ll definitely take the tips and implement them! Thanks for the inclusion
No problem dude! Best of luck with everything!
Thank you so so much for including me and giving wonderful feedback. You made my little heart go *POP* sir!
No problem!

Welcome aboard! You are so welcome!
The biggest thing I’ve found is find someone who talks to play with you. You two talking helps keep the stream going

Another awesome video, although I spent the whole time scared I’d see my stream 😂 wicked video dude! 🥰
Maybe next time! Thank you though!

Great video again! :)
Thank you! Cheers!

Variety content is how I grew my channel! I suggest checking out my video on “Games to Grow on Twitch” might be of help!
22:03 strange fellow at this time stamp
Hi! Will you be doing more small streamers reviews soon? I think from seeing your channel I might need some extra advice! 😅
Yes of course! Very soon! Best way to know when I'm doing them is keeping an eye on my twitter :)
Weren't the about panels arranged according to your resolution? Like at least on my end they only show 2 rows ar a time on my monitor so the ordering can get pretty scuffed if your monitor can show extra rows and the streamer can't see it that way.
Not to my knowledge but that could be down to the size of your panels:) Have a go with different sizes and see what happens:)

Merch's posture literally hurts me. His neck going to be screaming at him.
Well I thought my streams were nice but now I’m re thinking everything
Don’t compare yourself to others too hard! Everyone’s great in their own way!
