I've always loved guilty gear and this theme is one of my all time favorites , I can't really explain why it did but I'm thankful You really did the song justice. Love the work as always

I actually prefer 99% of the soundtrack in the Dreamcast version compared to X2, I wasn't really a fan of the changes I think the arrangements were already perfect!
I think Suck A Sage, Holy Orders, Momentary Life, and Fuuga are the only significantly improved ones. The Original is practically a totally different piece of music in XX, but I can't pick a favourite between those two. The rest, yeah, I'd rather listen to their X versions. Especially Liquor Bar because goddamn, they butchered that one in XX.

Fuuga yes. Actually I think that's the only XX remade track that I prefer over the X version.
I thought I was the only one who feels that way. GGXX arrangements go too far on the heavy metal and layer so many guitar shreds on top of a song that it obscures the main melody. It's like the difference between a live performance and a studio recording - 9 times out of 10, the live version doesn't sound anywhere as nice. I think the only XX rendition I actually prefer to X is Burly Heart, because the way it somehow captures Potemkin's stompiness is spot-on. 👌

May's new theme just was revealed and even though it's just a snippet I looooooove it. Would you be willing to try that first if you do any strive stuff? I'd love to hear your take!

May theme in GGX is vastly superior to the (slower and overall meh) GGXX version
