Love this! Such a thought provoking passage. I think Jesus wanted him to change his mindset, his way of thinking. He was clinging to the old legalism thinking that’s what made him good but that left his soul lacking and looking for something that he could accomplish himself in order to receive salvation. The new thought that faith was the only prerequisite was completely foreign to him. It didn’t compute. Here, we see Jesus telling him to basically take a leap of faith; leave all the old stuff behind and adopt the new, radical and very un-legalistic belief in Jesus alone. Thank you, Craig!
Amen There are something we call have to sacrifice and give up in order to follow Jesus Christ and Have that I’m all in for Jesus and they are something that are holding us back we must let them go and Let Go guide us God Is Good 🙏🏽✝️
