OUR STORY SO FAR:
We are Cory & Kristen Williams and in August 2014 we made the long drive from Southern California to our new home in Eagle River, Alaska. Here we’ve had the chance to explore beautiful Alaska, experience wild events, meet great people and endure some extreme temperatures. In December 2014 we got engaged under the Northern Lights after our Polar Plunge and later got married by our favorite lake on May 23rd, 2015. Then on June 23rd, 2016 we had our first child, a baby girl named Chell Marie.

omg! thats so true. there s so many playgrounds= dangerous. that one has educational factor, -"yep kids, that s called gravity!"
And they say that merry-go-rounds are dangerous. Haha
Petra AZFinn that's safe compared to the parks we used to have in the UK I can recall deadly roundabouts made of wood that would rot and throw kids off if it went at speed (they didn't have any bars on like the more modern ones) HUGE metal slides that would give you 3rd degree burns in summer, no such thing as rubber flooring either, the little park across from where my parents live was a death trap, it was a concrete floor with tiny stone chippings and itty bitty pieces of broken glass.
those were the days...
oh and don't forget the see-saws that didn't used to have springs on, they were literally just a long plank of wood with a metal handle either end to hold on and they would go at least 6 feet up in the air on some of them and if you got it right you could "buck" the other person off if you were on the lower end (and god help you if you were the one in the air and the other person suddenly got off sending you crashing to the floor - bye-bye coccyx is all I can say!)

Kristen was highly entertaining in this vlog - especially the next morning, so I don't think it was just the caffeine. Also, Chell is getting more and more impressive! It was great seeing her experience the swing for the first time, and almost immediately decide that she loves it.
She is so cute. You should definately take her to ITS A SMALL WORLD when you go to Disney. and film her to reactions to everything.

My son used to have those poop explosions all the time too. So many clothes stained and ruined. What helped was going up a size of diaper.

we had stairs when my kids were little to. we didnt even teach them the stairs. with both kids my husband forgot to put the gate back up and they followed him up. both times he just yelled down, "did you put them up here" when I said no he just yelled "well they learned" lol

Technically no. Their vlogs are generally a day or two behind their release, so today's vlog would have been recorded on either Sunday or Monday, so Kristen still had time to prank Cory and record it before he would see this vlog, as long as she edited it.
Oh good.
Kristen did edit it, the intro jump-cut into the vlog! When Cory edits, it slides from right to left, so he hasn't seen the clips yet, hopefully!

With my third baby I finally found a super easy and not so scary way for going downstairs. I taught him to go down on his tummy with feet first. He uses his arms to control how fast he descends. Too bad I didn't think of that sooner. My first fell down a few stairs once and smacked her little head on tile. So scary!

Kris, buddy, when the decision tree goes that far, it's a no-go. Next time set up a door-with-string so the "trick" is flying up (or down) when the door opens. Might require a few screw-eyes somewhere, but worth it.
