I am very stoic as well, I completely understand you..I stay in control of my emotions when I'm not alone..actually I'm so used to staying cool that I am also calm when I'm alone..I have excellent coping skills...I am over 50..actually quickly headed towards 60! So this mind set has developed with age..but I'm pleased with my demeanor..too much emotion interferes with rational thinking..
