Means personal no is issue after that photo appointment ,when photo appointment they check the hight and match the record now the hight mismatch. They hold the case that time what to do next. It's Embassy mistake while record the hight in India and now Sweden us creating problems. Any solution pls reply

nice video :) one question- suppose if get one year visa from 1st jan 2024 to 1st jan 2025. But if I arrive on 1st Feb 2024, which means I will officially live 11 months, in that case will i get personal number or coordination number ? I arrive 1 month late but visa valid for 1 year.
You can check with the authorities as your visa validity is 1 year, so getting personal number should not be an issue

I have received my UT today (living outside Sweden)however i was surprised to see the card validity to be until 31st March 2023. I was expecting to receive 2 years validity. I suspect that this is coming from my employment contract which states "PERMANENT CONTRACT- PROBATIONARY PERIOD 1st October 2022 to 31st March 2023". Am i correct?
In this case am i eligible for a personal number? if not anything to consider as a next step?
For getting personal number you need atleast 1 yr. valid visa . Try to contact your employer they may guide you

@@DankPvt This is because there is a start date and end date mentioned in the contract and hence the work permit validity reflects the same. So the next time you extent your work permit, sign an employment contract for 2 years or so inroder to get the work permit for 2 years and eventually apply for personal number. What i understand is starting 2023, it is easier to get a coordination number and also to open a bank account if you have your work permit for less than 2 years. Not sure though but i can update you end of February as i fly to Sweden by then. cheers

Hi, i have received a job offer from Sweden however they insist that I pay for the work permit (through migrationsverket) and also I will have to bear the flight ticket expense (from my home country to Sweden). Additionally, they won't also provide any assistance for accommodation for the initial 2-3 weeks of landing in sweden. Was this similar in your case too? or this totally depends on the company. Please share your thoughts. Thanks.
It's completely depends on your organisation.
As a swedish person I would say that companyes dont pays, for personal costs, like visas, accomodation and flight tickets!
Sweden is a high salary, high cost country, one supose to be able to manage everything by one self!
Then.. google that company, to be sure its not a fake!
In anyway, there is not that many people frome India in sweden, I belive that moste of them works in IT and automotive companys.. there is always a shortage of highly educated enginers and IT experts!

It's usually takes 4 to 6 weeks but it's also completely depends on skatteverket
