🤭 OH hun... No, they are most definitely NOT Innocent. They have told us this MANY times. In fact, the song Maniac is about the toxicity of some fans and how we end up mistreating them, misunderstanding them, and then misrepresenting them all because they tried to give us a deeper connection to them and yet seem go think they can't take care of themselves or that they are in need of our protection. They literally say, "you think were sweet and innocent, you are wrong" a sentiment they have shared with us so many times. Whether it be reprimanding us for overstepping AGAIN... or, in their music. Don't get me wrong, they ARE truly wonderful young men. Through and through. AND they are also very authentic. Which is why we need to hear them when they tell us their truth. The facts are.... these are full blown men in their mid 20s, all of whom are MEGA famous, unfairly beautiful, and very charismatic.... Not to mention, depending on the member, they have spent between 7 and 14 years in the kpop industry, between 10 and 15 if you count entertainment industry years instead of just kpop. Thats half their lives! They have had to fight like CRAZY just to stay with the label, nevermind their journey as a group! The only kpop artists to EVER be self formed, self named, have their whole self produced, AND they themselves have funded their own careers. (Most people don't see to realize this, but part of their deal with JYPE to debut was that the label couldn't afford to put money on a highly experimental groups who is self controlled. So that was up to SKZ too. The predebut mini? That funed their debut... so on and so forth. They only EVER received a set % of the revenue their selfmade music had already brought in. Never spending anything they hadn't earned. That's why they were never promoted well, and why they lived in a 2 bedroom 1 bath up until just a COUPLE years ago. Because they agreed to do just that, because they are tough as all hell and EXTREMELY determined. Truth is, those men are stronger and more capable than 99% of us will ever be. Heck, truth be told they are also better people than us too, as they have massivly high and often very inhumane and hypocritical standards that are being set for them BY US. Then there's us.... most fans are just online bully's with a god complex, are straight up pathological liars, and have an incessant need to infantilize male idols and project onto them the idea we have in our kinds that we believe is them... but it's not. We are the cause of 99% of their problems... I'm just saying that we need to stop telling them who they are, stop controlling their actions and their careers and them in general. When they tell us something in all seriousness, we need to take it seriously. We also really need to stop beliving bs just because everyone around us are just as gullible, unwilling to do their own research, but ARE willing to die on that hill as opposed to admit they are wrong.... its just sad. Unfortunately those we will be lucky to ever solve one of those issues, nevermind all of them. So don't worry about them when it comes to them taking care of themselves, worry about how the hell we are going to solve our own problematic behavior in order to try and become the fans they TRULY deserve....because this isn't if, and we sure as heck aren't either.
