I agree with you about the Hierophant in the older edition Mary-el. I have the “cleaned up” version, which I still adore but wish they didn’t change cards. The Solara Occulto Meliora is another favorite, but I’m a bit too precious with that deck & need to get over it fast, these cards are meant to be worked together with and are tools, it does nothing just sitting in their box looking pretty. Lol. I am really liking that Marseille-Waite tarot, that one’s getting tossed right in the cart. Such beautiful decks shown! :) my unicorns are the Majestic Earth & Tyldwick Tarots, older edition Jonasa Jaus among many lol. One day 🫠
Decks that are different from our norm: I’m working with the Star Seeker Tarot and Oracle together in January. I love how January they feel to me. But the Star seed, pastel purples and blues is SO far from my normal aesthetic. I’m a huge fan of earthy deck with a bit of whimsy. Like Forest of Enchantment for instance. In fact if mystical forest creatures are in a deck…take my money! But for some reason I needed that Star Seeker tarot, and then the oracle when it was on kickstarter. I couldn’t explain it, I just needed them! They are very out of place in my collection for sure.
Some great gems! It’s true what you are saying about Shimmering Vail. Had it for few years, but it’s still in my drawer, waiting for its time, if it will ever come.
Hi, The Anna K version you have is the indi deck from Europe (Germany? I forget where the creator lives). The mass market version - larger with black borders, by US Games - recently went OOP.
😍 OMG that Japanese guide book! Love!🤩🤩🤩 And old version of Mary el always reminds me of Mother who try to feed baby in her ways through life (my mother 😂) and I’m also searching for the copy of that edition! Love the video! Happy New Year my dear friend!
Jk Waite is so fresh and timeless look at all that color. Thanks for mentioning what way they were facing. Love love love! Well said about the Mary el tarot. I love what you said about the liminal tarot about how it balances you out I feel that way with my Thoth’s babes. I can totally see how the Anna k is a story deck. The shimmering veil how you said you felt you weren’t ready for it when you first got that’s how I feel about my wild unknown tarot. Thank you for responding this is so much fun!
Thank you for starting it! I want to see more responses to your tag! I’m still surprised that I love the Liminal so much, especially as it’s also a bit fanciful, but I do love it so.

Thank you! It’s definitely a deck that feels like “when the time is right”. It’s not a deck that you can force on yourself…if that makes sense.

Oh and I love your Anna K! I think you have an indie version? My deck are bigger size than yours. ✨✨✨
Even though I can’t read it, I love it!
Happy New Year to you as well! I owe you a package!
12:21 yesss *coughAIdeckscough* I love a pretty Tarot deck, not just a pretty deck.

@@birdhousetarot I hope so to! I totally felt that about your deck. Is it watercolor or saturation. Something with the colors are very beautiful.
