Thank you so much for doing this video! The information has helped me so much especially abut cost. I didn’t realize how my prices would affect other photographers! So excited to start this new journey!
Thank you for this. Very informative and comprehensive video! I've seen your old videos and I am glad to know that you're posting more regularly now! Great job and your photos are stunning!
This video was awesome and thank you so much. As a beginner this was very helpful and educational. I would love to see a Photoshop and Camera Raw work flow video from you. Thank you.
of course i would buy a crop camera smh, but I love it so much bc of its size..ig it can be a good starter camera and i can invest later!?🤔 this was super helpful btw, thank you!
I do! I will find it, make sure to join my Facebook group @momtogeducate and I will share there and on my Instagram instagram.com/momtogeducate?igshid=MjkzY2Y1YTY=
Dammm, this was the best video ever! Thank you! I'm in process to found a new computer for my work, and this info was just what i was looking for! you are amazing!
Great info; I used a 85mm 1.4 G because its all that I had and didn't want to rent since the shoot was for free. The room was small and didn't want it wide. I have a 50mm manual and its one of my regrets, only because of the manual focus. The images came out great. I just wanted to share. Do you think in 2022, it's possible to have s successful photo business ? Considering covid and it seems as if hiring a pro isn't as important to many . Unless I'm not around the right people . I used Lightroom from my recent shoot on a 7 month old. I totally agree with you about the babies skin , but my client didn't want the babies skin to be manipulated. I guess it depends on the client. I love the image to be a close to what the baby really looks like. However, it's good to know PS. I am not that great with PS.
I love your videos and this is a great content. I was wondering if it would be possible for you to volume up the videos moving forward as it’s hard to hear your voice when listening on an iPhone? Thank you for sharing your experience with us x
Awesome video! Are there any presets you recommend for ACR? I am wanting to try out ACR with Adobe Photoshop. Is bridge what links those two together? I super appreciate how amazing you are with responding. That why I am sticking with you, girl! Love it here with MomTog Educate! I am also going to take you up on joining the FB page stat!
Thank you for this! I'm just getting going and have so many questions, thank you for answering even the ones I didn't know I had! Did you take formal training? Has that whole 7 years been in newborn?
I’ve been focused on newborns for the last 7 years. I have taken 2 different mentoring workshops, as well as a dozen different online workshops over the years. I believe in always learning. You can only get better the more you learn😁
I have a Cannon PowerShot SX60, is that a recommended camera to use for new born photography? I’m fairly new getting into professional photography and would love to message you and ask some questions whenever you have some time! Thank you for posting 💛
I started with a rebel! But if you can afford it, buy a full frame or Mirrorless! But if you can’t, then learn your rebel really well shooting in Manual! And upgrade when you can
Low light meaning at sunset, you’ve never heard that term? It means when there isn’t a lot of ambient light. A full frame camera is built better and will help you reduce the noise when you are cranking your ISO to compensate for that low light. I hope that helps
your video is gold, you share so much important information. however you seem angry or very arrogant. look at your facial expressions, very serious and your tone is not very nice. that made me not want to subscribe.
Wow, I’m quite astonished at this comment, if you’ve watched any of my other videos you would know the type of person I am, which is the complete opposite of arrogant. It’s very intimidating putting yourself out there for the public to judge. Glad you found the information useful though 👍🏻

@@momtogeducate agreed thank you for you inspiration! 💜
What advanced Canon DSLR would you recommend for newborn photography?
Definitely a full frame camera. So smaller budget would be a Canon 6d
Or a Larger budget would be a Canon 5d Mark IV
Hi would a canon rebel t8i be a great camera to start off with?
What does the dog bed look like or do you have a link for it
I show it in this video:
Newborn Photography Tutorial | 2020 Workshop {posing bean hack included}
do you have general liability insurance and professional liability or just general?
joem1481 I believe it’s professional liability as it is a separate business insurance

i dont understand when she says "LOW LIGHT" are we shooting music videos,? this is to mean you are in control of your lighting as a photographer.

where do you go through for your insurance?
I used allstate and now it’s something else... I forget. But it’s about $50/month
How do you get model babies to practice or start with ?
Local buy and sell groups or non groups :)
@@momtogeducate thanks for the quick response, but i was talking about real babies to start a portfolio.
Yes, you post in local groups looking for newborn models to build portfolio 🙌
