I'm making the transition too. I've been an iphone user for years but I just bought a the s20+ as well and its coming next week. How is the camera? I'm scared I won't like it as much as the iphone camera.
To be honest, I prefer the iPhone camera. The saturation on the cameras make pictures look weird. I took one front camera picture and was like "oh hell no" and turned it off lol it'll take some time and playing with the settings to be happy with it

hey, tips for new Samsung user go to settings > display > navigation bar > swipe gesture This is better than having three button UI and give more familiar experience to iphone user.

@@anakindonissa i would like to say, as an iphone user for the past 6 years, i did leave samsung a long time ago due to battery and lag problems. i do know they are good phones, but i just prefer iphones interface! if that gives you any insight, i just like the way iphones run! but samsungs are beautiful and well made as of recently, because they did go through a little crappy faze when i had them. but you get used to the interface, and i don’t want to switch over! but the flip samsung is really tempting though!

Samsung is and have really advance with there smart phones and i feel like very year they bring the level up with their smartphones. I did not like samsung 6 years either ago but iphone was and is always so expensive for less and i always used samsung because you get so much more for less. And the price 6 years ago was reasonable priced. There smartphones now has become more expensive but you get alot more features. and yes i indeed used iphone for brief moment more but i did not like that alot was restricted, i prefer more freedom with my phone.

Honestly, as a former samsung user noe ios user, i wish i had my samsung at times. But since I was such a giant 100% apple fan, switching to ios was like life changing to me. I currently have an iphone 6s which has the newest ios update but im getting an 11 for christmas. The 12 reminds me of the iphone 4/5 series because of how thick it is lol. Id say get the iphone first and if you dont like it switch it out for an s20/20 note or s10/10 note. You can always switch out your phone later which is a perk of both companies (or apple from what i know).
You can do a lot with the s10! Try out wireless powershare and link to windows if you have a windows computer! I think you have Samsung DEX, which is like you're able to connect your phone to a TV or PC and turns it into its own PC software😳

I always had Samsung till 2018 when I got the iPhone X, last year I got the iPhone XR but this year I’m going back to Samsung again with this beautiful galaxy S20 ❤️ I’m so excited and watching videos like this make me even more excited lol.
After about 8 years , I switched from Samsung to apple last year . at first I missed my Samsung phone but later loved the iPhone. It’s more peaceful too use. Android phones are so busy.I didn’t realize how much unnecessary app was on Samsung, constant pop ups and notifications. iPhones don’t have as much functionality as android but i have what I need. Maybe in the future I’ll return to Samsung when they get rid of those third party apps you can’t install.

Omg I love the Samsung aesthetic unboxing, I use the A11 Samsung The only things I nitpick is the fingerprint scanner in the back, the headphone jack on the top of the phone Perhaps the storage a bit (32GB) But that did not stop me from making it pretty! Anyways I love the video 💕
We know they won't. They still have the outdated notch and lighting cord. Which most tech experts say was great for the time but now it's outdated since most are usbc
I have the same cell phone and I can say that I love it! Simply the Samsung galaxy S20+ was made for me, it's very perfect, I still have it in black, it's a very nice color. 💕
yes watching in my s20+ cloud blue model...due to recent price drop it was difficult to get but through some of my collogues at samsung i got it..happy for next 5 years or may be more
I want to switch but I’m scared that the androids don’t receive the same support that iPhones do. Like you can keep an iPhone for many years and receive updates still. From my understanding the androids receive 2 major updates and that’s it :( this is the major thing preventing me from switching, I like to keep my phones for a long long time.
That's very true. I definitely understand your hesitation, I usually change my phone every 2 years so I knew that if I didn't like android I would change back eventually
the thing is about samsung, (not too sure about other androids) these phones dont require a lot of updates. depending on which phone you get there is usually no bugs. also that's not true at all anyways, we recieve lots of updates especially when a new phone comes out. (they make a new one every year in march)
ive had my s9 for almost 4 years now and it works perfectly. the camera is way better than the iphone 8 by a long run. the battery life has stayed consistent surprisingly as well. i really recommend switching to samsung. it's amazing

@@minismalls3096 ahh that is a problem:( that's the only bad thing. depending on the samsung phone, it wont look bad it just wont look as clear/good as the regular camera. if you're curious to why, apple pays the companies (tiktok, instagram, snapchat, etc) money for that high camera quality. the reason androids do that is bc the third party apps are having to stream the camera (if that makes sense) so it doesnt come out as clear. usually it isnt that bad though so
I don't regret going from iPhone to Galaxy. I transitioned when the S9+ was still new and I love it and it's Purple/Violet! I will be upgrading when my phone will no longer get the recent UI updates (:

I think so, with iphone you can go into setting>notifications>whatever app you choose and uncheck "lock screen" if you dont want it to show up. My mom has an s20 but i dont really know much about it lol

After about 8 years , I switched from Samsung to apple last year . at first I missed my Samsung phone but later loved the iPhone. It’s more peaceful too use. Android phones are so busy.I didn’t realize how much unnecessary app was on Samsung, constant pop ups and notifications. iPhones don’t have as much functionality as android but i have what I need. Maybe in the future I’ll return to Samsung when they get rid of those third party apps you can’t install.
@@solarlola5953 what phone did you have? and which carrier? My s10 doesn't have any bloatware, sure there's a few apps I don't use but I don't find an issue with them since i got tons of storage and they're tucked away in a folder in the app drawer, maybe it affects others more

They used to but they got sued a while back for it and now they don’t anymore. So if you buy one of the newer ones you’ll be good in a few years

I want to switch but I’m scared that the androids don’t receive the same support that iPhones do. Like you can keep an iPhone for many years and receive updates still. From my understanding the androids receive 2 major updates and that’s it :( this is the major thing preventing me from switching, I like to keep my phones for a long long time.
That's very true. I definitely understand your hesitation, I usually change my phone every 2 years so I knew that if I didn't like android I would change back eventually
the thing is about samsung, (not too sure about other androids) these phones dont require a lot of updates. depending on which phone you get there is usually no bugs. also that's not true at all anyways, we recieve lots of updates especially when a new phone comes out. (they make a new one every year in march)
ive had my s9 for almost 4 years now and it works perfectly. the camera is way better than the iphone 8 by a long run. the battery life has stayed consistent surprisingly as well. i really recommend switching to samsung. it's amazing

I know someone who has an android (not Samsung) and his insta stories come out so blurry even though I’ve seen the quality of his actual camera is really good. Thought that was a bit weird but was wondering if you’ve seen this same issue with Samsung?
@@minismalls3096 ahh that is a problem:( that's the only bad thing. depending on the samsung phone, it wont look bad it just wont look as clear/good as the regular camera. if you're curious to why, apple pays the companies (tiktok, instagram, snapchat, etc) money for that high camera quality. the reason androids do that is bc the third party apps are having to stream the camera (if that makes sense) so it doesnt come out as clear. usually it isnt that bad though so

I'm just asking if she had any plans on buying the bts version since a lot of armys bought that one when they had a chance to buy a phone especially the s20 model. I know my comment sounded like she had the responsibility to buy the bts version but I only asked the question out of curiosity because I knew that she is an army and maybe she might have considered buying the s20 bts version since it's only a 40$ difference.

I think so, with iphone you can go into setting>notifications>whatever app you choose and uncheck "lock screen" if you dont want it to show up. My mom has an s20 but i dont really know much about it lol
It shows up as a little icon on the lockscreen and when you tap on it, it enlarges so you can read it 😊
@@michyluvsuga You can also change it so that the whole notification shows up if you want. It's in the lock screen settings. I prefer the icons though
You can set it to hide the message, so that you just get notified but no visible message on the lock screen until you open it.
maybe if u try the swipe gesture in the navigation bar it will be a lil bit easier and plus will make the screen look cleaner💝congrats on ur switch🥰
