You certainly are a master, and I wish I lived closer to you so I can ask to take lessons! All of your works are so inspiring. And I have tried to work your subjects and draw them as you do, and always fall so short. I sure do love learning from you though, unparalleled instruction!
I find that it is not often, an artist composes a river with the flow of water going away from the viewer. This and the light source being from the right, rather than the left, makes this composition much more interesting and more unique. I viewed the subject photo and I think you captured those elements very well. Thank you for this video!
Positively amazing to watch the unfolding of a piece (once again) whilst listening to the voiceover. Thank you for sharing your very special and singular talent, such that the process becomes even more meaningful and captivating. Would that I could achieve, at least a wee bit, some such talent herein. If possible: more graphite, more animals, especially horses. Thank you so much.
Miroslav- I've been following you on and off for years. In the beginning, I was impressed with your technical drawing prowess, but your landscapes seemed rather lifeless. I guess your inner artist must be coming out more these days, because I have lately seen a vast improvement in the "life" of your landscapes. I can almost hear the water flowing over the rocks and feel a warm, mild sun on my face. Keep up the good work! -Your fan, Deb
Very nice! I didn't know you can apply color pencils over pastels. I wonder if you can answer a question about graphite and charcoal.. I heard that you can apply charcoal over graphite but not graphite over charcoal. Is that right? Thank you. .
Graphite is a lubricant. It's easier to put graphite on top because charcoal needs some tooth. I prefer a combination of charcoal and a black colored pencil.
Nice work. One question,I noticed you said drawing paper. Are you referring to mixed media or more like 74/114gsm durable.By the way I like working on the sandpaper. I was using 400-600 grit.1000 is better. Thanks for the suggestion

Thank you. Color landscapes offer new ways of expressing yourself but at the same time they are more challenging.
