Yes! If you request a smaller garbage cart, you will save $15 a year. A smaller compost or recycling cart will not affect your annual solid waste user fee. For more information visit abbotsford.ca/carts.
@@CityofAbbotsfordBC Are there any plans to take recycle weekly like in the past. My recycle fills sooner than the new 14 day cycle. (since the post above was on costs- did we save $ with this reduced recycling pick up? )
@@JRobs-qb6yj Thank you for your question! Recycling will continue to be collected on a bi-weekly basis and there are no plans to switch back to weekly collection. If you find you regularly have more recycling than will fit in your cart, we recommend upsizing to the larger 360L cart.
