If anyone talks honestly about their experiences, then obviously they will use the word "I" quite often. The real question is: *why are you guys so upset that you are here actually crying about such a tiny thing?* Are you seriously *that frail?*
Watch the video, it's beyond obvious and your "question" would be answered easily 20x as fast. But you are not actually asking a question, or you would have done this already. Your passive aggressive comment is well beyond transparent.
I’m an engineer. She claimed to measure the radius of the earth. She did not. She was only able to walk an approximate path as she claims. So my question is valid. What did she measure, exactly? What were her results? This is just pseudo science. And please stop accusing anyone who disagrees with you as being passive aggressive. That’s empty and childish.

It's always funny to me who shows up to comment on Tedx talks depending on the speakers gender and or race. Unless there is a clearly progressive subject matter (like how the Earth isn't flat), the *ism deniers* won't show up if the speaker is a white man. On the other hand, no matter the subject (and this is clearly evident in this videos comments), if the speaker is a woman or a non white man, they show up in droves spouting all sorts of negativity, with nothing to back up even one thing they say.
Some through simply not having anyone teach them, and others through wanton ignorance. The later being most often the ones who complain about such things.
I think I would prefer to walk along France and Spain from north to south (even with a backpack), slowing feeling the changes in the landscape and the people I met, the difference between flavors, food, beer cider and wine, that digging some king's tomb to measure a skeletton's toe.
No, but bigots have been known to be real since thousands of years before anyone even had the concept of robots. But if you take the description of mindless, heartless and soulless, then you fit right in, so perhaps you are a robot. You may as well be for all the brainwashing you've allowed to ruin any chance at wisdom you may have once had.
She looks like she's about to design some supersuits.
Miles Darnell I wanted to say something, but damn it you said better than I ever could have
Hahaha, I had the same thought, before I read your message. Just like that woman from the Incredibles.
she was walking the run way one metre at a time. Da da, da, da. Da da, da, da.
Not sure what I just watched.
Capes are about a meter right? Oh wait NO CAPES!
The next logical step should strive to increase accuracy by measuring it 14 more times...
I only came here to read the comments on what people think she looks like.
I was really moved by this
I've worked out what this is about - how many times does she say 'I'? Clearly science. /sigh.

@Matthew Morycinski : Well said. Life is about attaining a healthy balance.
I thought this was going to be about writing poetry 😂
I'm so glad I read the blurb before I started listening by mistake.
This is beautiful
So the metre is the metre of by which we measure the metre.
*GO!*
*FIGHT!*
*WIN!*
She carried a GPS!? So what did she “measure”, exactly?

@@Drone256 The result is in the description of the video. You're and engineer and don't read ? Mytho !
Am I wrong to think this woman doesn't have enough to do?
😆 😆 😆 😆
Yes, you are wrong. Because you do not find what others do to have value, does not even imply it does not have value.
i’m artist didnt understand single point she made.. wtf was this?
How long is a NPC metre?
Будьте добры! Перевод на русский! Пожалуйста!

sputnik confirmed what she says above..
For proof if what I said just watch the next Tedx talk, and peruse the comments section, lols.
Sometimes the internet is so entertaining. ^-^

No we are not all familiar with the metre or even the meter.
