That was Beautiful Sir!! And she will be so missed as she WAS Philadelphia Radio for so many of us. She turned us all on to the greatest music that's become the soundtracks of our lives!
Oddly enough, I've been thinking about her so much recentlly. Wishing I could hear one of her good ole morning shows. When this wonderful man started singing I cried my guts out because I've sent quite a few friends that very song in the past 2 weeks!!!! Devine Intervention brought me here today and I thank you and WXPN with all my heart!

Michaela introduced me to Francis via XPN. First ALITS, and then Too Much Saturn from Tall Blonde Helicopter. I ran out and bought TBH right away. ~23 years later it is still one of my favorite albums.

I remember his first song that I heard - Climbing up the Love Tree. I was surly because I was up before dawn to go to work. I heard Francis singing and I wondered just who the Hell this happy @sshole was at 5 a.m. Then I just fell hard for the man's music. And it's all Michaela's fault. I wish her the best in her new life.

Francis on the meaning of life... and the leaning tower of pizza. He makes you think. Deep. Deep pan. Here's another thought for those who've watched this video and taken to musing on Frankie's idea of the future... "what if it's a frozen pizza?" Would that represent suspended animation... because life doesn't come with fresh ingredients... unless they're grown in the past. For this reason... ready meals will always... by definition... be in the present.
