I have nearly the same rig! Fender Tonemaster Deluxe Reverb amplifier, Squier Mustang guitar in antique white (but I love the blue here) and a Fender Reverb reissue unit from the ‘90’s. I love it and have a blast playing it! Now I just need to hone my guitar playing skills‼️🔥😍🎸
Can someone point me to great surf rock gear .. I ordered the SurfyBear Reverb … I have many amps, 3-vox amps, fender , Roland , Peavy , .. I am unfamiliar with a reverb tank .. can someone point me in the right direction .. thanks 😊 Johnny
@@johnkowall7558 all you need is a single coil guit, like a strat or strat knock off, with a whammy bar or Bigsby. Put the surfy bear in line before the amp-that’s the main thing. I play surf on my humbucker Gretsch with a Topanga Spring reverb pedal into a cheap sans amp and it still sounds awesome. Don’t get too caught up trying to emulate anyone else’s exact tone. Just make your tone with what you got. Remember, tube amps change night to night, anyway so you’ll never get it exact anyhow.
The Shantys : Pipeline was a must learn back in 1965 . The pinnacle of surf music to my ears .
This is just what I’ve been looking for. Great content.

The Tc Drip is good if you are on a budjet.
