- My ex racehorse Ember and I head out for another training session, this time for some arena cross country. I'm so pleased with his progression, thank you to Justine for the help.

That was the best I've seen Ember go - great job!! He looked wonderful - there were some jumps his form was just beautiful - it's interesting after the jump when you are really light w/your hands he is so calm - you are breaking through - well done!!
Was going to lose enough weight so I could buy my own Ember but the funny thing, is that your journey with Ember has encouraged me to persist with my 16.2hh behemoth version (his previous nickname was dinosaur horse) of Ember. Even though he's a behemoth, I used to be too heavy even for him but now am not. Thanks so much for posting your journey with Ember.

Not many people could ride Ember. He is a funny mix of needing to steady yet he needs you to keep your leg on. You are doing a fab job

Wow, well done!! Arena Eventing may be Ember’s jam. Maybe it compartmentalizes the cross country fences for him? Doesn’t have all that space overwhelming his senses or something. Whatever it was, he and you were fabulous! 🎉🎉
