Spinos are tactical geniuses they started slitting the rexes in to groups and attacking from the back and sides of each group making it nearly impossible for the rexes to win
I'm not an Ark combat expert but from the few years I did play and the content I've watched for a few years more it seems like when compared to a Spino during an AI battle the Rex loses out on dps when they roar. They just can't seem to help themselves

spinos also have better dps by quite a bit
I prefer spinos more cause they attack fast and they have 2 variations for the attacks. Thấy are extremely fast too. It makes travel a lot easier.
