700 Club
Now I'm gonna watch T.V. all day
Now I've got the chance to throw my life away
I'm gonna pray for a happy meal
I won't cheat, I won't steal
Thank you Pat
Listen to the preacher with the frosted hair
He says god is everywhere
I've gotta laugh cause I can see
He's fucking you but he won't fuck me
No siree
You cry and cry for human sacrifice
The gift is that of giving when you give
Your life to Christ
Amen Amen we sing unto these hills
Suburban T.V. crazies strung out on diet pills
That's you Pat
Now everybody in the neighborhood is gonna
Love the man who was nailed to wood
Useless martyrs need to die in the land
Where only suckers cry
Thank you Pat
Selfless Johnny
Johnny was a really great guy
When you were depressed he'd help you cry
Never crossed the grain of the throbbing masses
Had the intelligence of natural gases
He went off to die somewhere
Johnny was fighing in a war
But the girl in his bed was another whore
Jonny was fighting for a cause
Johnny came back wrapped up in gauze
He went off to die somewhere
Jonny you're selfless
Just like Ellsworth Tooey you're selfless
Go off and die somewhere
What good were you anyway stupid asshole?
It's OK
When the going gets tough you get going
Everything's OK
Don't concern yourself about it
It'll be just fine
You don't want to get involved
You just want the problem solved
Thinking while you're drinking that there's
Nothing you can do
You're real calm
Till it happens to you
What are you gonna do
When they knock on your door
What are you gonna do
When you get screwed
You never really saw the big deal
You never really thought it was for real
Now it's time to turn the other cheek
And you're scared too scared to speak
You gotta find a place to run and hide
You sneak through the alley
You think it's OK
You're dead now
Government
Give me unemployment
I want my money now
No sense in me working
When I get paid anyhow
I almost live for free
Your taxes go to me
This is how your money's spent
Don't you love the government
My mother is a drunkard
She brings home the welfare check
Gives it to my father
He beats her to a nervous wreck
Chorus
See mom's new baby, born alive
He's almost dead
He's a sickly little monster
Another mouth to be fed
Dear Sirs
I don't care about your nationality
Give a shit about your hospitality
Ronnie and his totality
Fuck your cap gun mentalities
Keep your back door strategies
Mental sub zero capacity
Lucrative poseur you're not for me
Show my own integrity
Dear Sirs, why fight
Dear Sirs, it's not right
T.V. soldiers nothing left to learn
High technology to time to burn
World of flames Ronnie's real concern
Washington Tea Party time to burn
Why not write your own amendments
We've got all day to rape your face
If you love to live die for it?
No way Ronnie I won't eat shit
Chorus
Repeat 1st verse
Dear Sirs!
Blap!
Wait a minute
Take these
Plaster caster
On your knees
Stupid bitch
You don't give a fuck
Down out and
Don't get up
You're wasted all over
Spill into the floor
You gell and you know it
Gell forever more
Blap!
Nauseous
Carl went to the ladies room
There he found a knife
Flipping both wrists over
He took his sorry life
Nauseous again, Nauseous as hell
Feeling pretty nauseous
Feeling pretty bad
Feeling like the breakfast
David Squad never had
Chorus
Sitting in Bundulees
Sitting in a chair
I feel so sick
I want to pull out my hair
Chorus
Tra la la (repeat) Видеоклипы
One of the best HC records hands down. Easily top 5 of US and world,
Graveyard Sale totally! one of those essential 80s ushc slabs; in the same rarefied air as Pick Your King, MECHT MENSCH’s Acceptance, DEEP WOUND, Hassibah Gets the Martian Brain Squeeze, and the second DIE KREUZEN record - i believe the proper term is “ragers”
Absolutely the raddest West Knox hardcore band ever.
Jonathan Griswold understate much?
Maybe even one of the best in that era as far as musicianship also goes. This band is fast and tight
So ahead of its time. Sounds like Deep Wound with the musical ability of Bad Brains.
Grew up with these guys. Best hardcore band ever!!!
So intense and furious.
Can't stop listening.
Probably best hc ep ever.
I got the (official German bootleg???) for cheap in the early 90s. Still love it. Flawless record! Great job reissuing it.
They were 16 at the time. Holy crap.
Brutally Fast &Tight !!! Another Killer 80’s US Hardcore/Punk Band.
Thank You For Posting This,
Greetings From Indonesia. 😊🙏
I bought an original off some guy in 1989 for $1 when working at Green Hell Records in Hollywood. I sold it in 2005 for $680. lol
Which one of the green hell zombies were you? Not thrashead..are you Ed?
Hardwulf is my old account. No, I’m Kevin. I worked at the Cherokee store in 1989/90. I kept it running while Jago and Rick were off shooting smack, or whatever the hell they did. I got some incredible rare hardcore records out of the place.
I got into the knoxville scene in 2018 made a lit of good friends and discovered a lot of great bands. This is by far one of the greatests ive heard
play this album over and over and over again
HI NIKO
i was a roommate with Scott in college. they played in our apt on Forest ave a couple times to an audience of maybe 20. later they found gigs on the Cumberland strip. to this day the fastest band i ever witnessed.
Tony Bailey that's insane!!
Liberty Katz I don't remember it being called that. Can't remember the street number but it was about 3 blocks west of 17th on Forest Avenue. Old depression era single story blue/grey house that was split into 2 apartments.
Tony Bailey I thought the Hippie House was down around or on Laurel Ave
Oh. The hippy house is where the STD's hung out. It was around the same area. It wasn't Koro.
Hey Tony, I live in Nashville close to Bill Baker. Do you know anyone that may still have a copy of the EP for sale? e-mail me alex.navarro.99@gmail.com
Cheers!
Ive listened to this so many fkn times, USHC at its height !!!!
Damn I have this ep (not original) but I forgot the band’s name until rn. Thanks so much for posting it!!
Some of Knoxville's very best! 700 Club especially.
love this EP
every song is great
I read somewhere that the Circle Jerks were bummed they had to follow them at a gig once
Circle jerks are lame, Koro musically destroys em easily
might be the best ushc 7” ever for me, at least til ELECTRIC CHAIR came along..
ELECTRIC CHAIR IS SO GOOD
NOFB seeing them in a few months along with RASHŌMON, NO FUCKER, ASOCIAL, EXTENDED HELL, ANTHRAX uk, and a bunch of others so imagine how moist i am lately!
YEAH! And they were highschool kids!!!!!!!!
Very good!
holy shit this is amazing... they split up the year I was born :(
they liked early d.r.i. alot i see!! this is done really great tho, and from the south!!! thanx for posting!!~cheers
It's in some ways better than the source material too. Can't believe these guys didn't have more of a rep!
@@danevans6340 they were from the black hole of eastern tennessee where nothing escapes and hardly any punk bands tour there. It makes sense how they never became popular in the word of mouth 80's.
BEST EP OF THE WORLD!!!!!
Dope ep
This band Rip's 🤘
Fucking classic record.
This kills.
Carl and I were pretty good friends in HS. Saw Billy this weekend at the Chicago drum show. We talked about how much this EP went for on ebay, nuckin futs! Saw DK last summer in Indy without Jello. Not the same...
I sold one in 2004 for $680
Yes
honestly how does this exist
that's the beautiful mystery of life that makes all the bad stuff seem almost worth it
Oh my God. I think I had this EP but traded it to somebody without actually listening to it.
[weeping]
anyone got the lyrics to acid casualty? is it true that they sped this ep up after recording? were the band members really that young? full of questions
I don't think it was sped up but I don't know how old they were when this was made. It's a very intense 6min EP. One of the best ever.
needs more cowbell
I have a question, can anyone give me any other punk bands from Tennessee? Dead or ongoing, I want to support local bands
Thank you!! It's really really hard to find other punks here in Maryville :/

The V Roys- amazing alt country Americana
Todd Steed and the sun's of sphere
RB Morris

G.U.N. Spoode Boy Waxed Chainshot Pissbath
Where is the solo guitar part from 'Government' taken from?
Гарегин Аракелян taken from dave
Anybody know the chanting words at the beginning of 700 Club? I always thought it was “no god”
it is indeed 'no god' sung through a harmonizer - Carl Snow (Koro co-founder and guitarist)
@@CarlSnow thanks Carl, happy to hear it from the source!
@@CarlSnow You still around the fast hardcore music or are things more mellow now being older?
Shit i have a big punk collection and never heard these guys til a few days ago. Fucking sick. Shame they got fucked over by jello or the label anyway.
Nardwuar!!! Nardwaur! Nardwaur
3:07
