My parents were married over 60 years, when the died days apart. We used this song for the video of their lives. We all cried, now I cry along with you. Love your heart 💜
Perhaps one of the most beautiful songs ever written. Especially if you're blessed enough to be in a relationship with your soul mate. Mine unfortunately passed away 20yrs ago, but this song brings her back to me every time I hear it. Thank you KSO for opening that door! Hugs to you always! 🤗🧡🍯

Yes, that is his wife, Denise. They have been married since 1979. They have 3 daughters, all in their 20's now. They were also in the video, when they were younger.
I cried right along with you.. My husband actually stumbled across this song last month and played it for me I bawled... when I saw your reaction a few minutes ago to this song I bawled again...
This song came out when I was pregnant with our first child 17 years ago and I connected with it immediately. We just renewed our wedding vows last month and this song is more true every day.
My Lovely K.S.O., Another song By Alan Jackson that is among my top songs in my playlist. I had to get that out of the way to say that this a song that is very personal to Alan. What I've read, the video shows old home movies of his life as a child and of marriage. That is also Denise, his wife dancing with and kissing him. They've been married for 41 years now and all three of there children (all girls) are grown and have lives of their own. For an eight month spell, they had separated due to Alan's travels and infidelity. They did reconcile for she decided that he was worth the heartbreaks and forgiving him would begin to heal the rift that developed between them. Trust also had to be re-earned and that takes time. This song is beautiful and it does cut a little deeper for me. Have a blessed evening.
I saw Alan Jackson during a visit to Nashville over 25 years ago. He's an excellent performer. My favorite tune by him is more of an upbeat number called "Don't Rock the Jukebox." In the song, he mentions country music legend George Jones. If you'd like to hear one of the saddest songs in the English language, check out "He Stopped Loving Her Today" by George Jones. Have some tissues handy.
Allan Jackson Drive (For Daddy Gene). You will love it. If you don't then i will never make another request. I will still watch your reactions as i do love your reactions. :-)
My son played this for me some time ago. I fought the tears while he was here. My husband died in May of 2020. We would have had 47 years together on June 2nd. We had been through all that is in the song. I can’t listen to this song anymore without crying but I wanted to see what you thought of it? I am glad that I wasn’t crying alone... ❤️
I've got to tell you that you are absolutely one of my favorite people to watch on here.. i come back everyday. You are the sweetest and most genuine person ive seen on here. I adore your channel.
I lost my wife 39 years ago at the age of 25. We had only been married 6 years. Passed away after complications from the delivery of our son. This song wells the tears up from my heart. I dedicate this song to you my sweet angel. I know you're up there singing along with me. Miss you so much my love. We will be together again some day and we will sing again. Loved you then, now and forever. So rest in peace for now. I can't wait to see you then. Love you much. We will remember when.
This song is the story of my late hubby and my life . We had a wonderful life of love. I lost him after 51 years of marriage, And this is what I remember when I hear this song
Hi KSO he has so many great songs "chasing that neon rainbow" "summer time blues" I could make a long list the reality is his music is all great and he made a lot.
To me it is one of the most sweetest country love songs of all time! Allthough my girlfriend passed away at a young age (36) because of kidneydisease, (1,5 years ago)i hope to be with someone forever and listen to this song, also when i am older.
Alan is real country. Country music went pop. Check out Alan and George Strait doing "Murder On Music Row" - a country song about country music....or the business.
He released 3 songs from his new CD this week. Of course there's one about Country music's demise. The whole album (21 songs) will be out May 14th. You can't see it, but I'm doing cartwheels right now❣ 😉🤸♀️🤸🤸♂️
The song is about how him and his wife split up after an unfortunate incident and they had to work it out and they did and their lives and the kids and life in general, they been married since Dec 17th 1979
Alan has been married to his high school sweetheart for around 40 years, I believe this was written to her ! And yes, that is his wife Denise in the video .
This song is so deep to me. My wife and I have been married fifty two years. We have been through a lot together. We. Have five children and six grand children. We are still very much in love.
I am hooked on this 1st time reaction page. I am also hooked on country songs and the meanings behind them. Your reactions seem genuine, and I cry right along with you. I need a good cry, Please review "Temporary home" by Carrie Underwood. ( Have your tissues ready),
I don't get why these videos are blocked, even though the artist gets no income from them; they are opened up to admirers that would have never heard of them before.
Alan Jackson and his wife's marriage was collapsing, and his wife wouldn't give up. She said she prayed and prayed and God heard her and restored their marriage and Alan Jackson recommitted his life to Jesus and praise God for saving them. Beautiful story
I think their experience shows people that you don't HAVE to divorce. Denise wisely got them into some in depth counseling, also. That would mean they each were already considering forgiveness. That's really something in today's world.
Such an amazing song. As others have said, country songs tend to tell great stories. Another song similar to this is Steve Wariner's song "I'm Already Taken"...just not the 1978 version..check out the updated version, it has a better sound to it :)
