Sam I have a transgender son and I just adore him as my as my other Cisgender son, they both are our world for my husband and me. We actually belong to a supporting group (not to support us but to support other parents ❤️😉👌🏻) We live in Bogotá, Colombia and there are 98 families in that group today and counting 😃. Wish you the best! We come to this world to be happy and sweat while dancing! 🥰

Why is it so difficult for people to use "they/them" when referring to Sam Smith? I will admit that I make the mistake every now and then of using "he/him," but will quickly correct it once caught. *RESPECT* It's not a one-way street.
Hi, I have a question (‘cause I’m educating myself on this matter).. English is not my first language and sometimes I doubt I’m doing this correctly 🙈 Do you use they/them but address the person as singular? For example, should I say “They are an amazing singer” when talking about Sam? It’s so confusing for me, sorry 🤗
@@johnlewis9158 Since you make the claim that your alleged brain is purported to be fully-functioning, were manners something that was taught to you? It matters not if one believes differently than Sam Smith, yet one should respect their wishes on how to refer to them.
As a trans male I appreciate and love everything he did to bring it forward and not be ashamed. So many people in the world right now are so afraid of being judged just by being able to live as who they are and who they are coming to terms with of themselves. Having people out in the public eye and people who are so loved helps us all.
Sam smith will probably never read this but there is a Kpop artist called Stray Kids and one of the members (Felix, he’s Aussie) says he loves Sam! Like they are one of his absolute favorite artists and he plays their songs on the live streams when he’s communicating with fans 🥺🥺💗💗
Just letting anyone reading this know that Sam Smith is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns (it's hard to change the pronouns one is use to calling another person, this is from experience) and couldn't agree with you more, Sam Smith is just simply amazing
Oh my god people in these comments can shut up about calling Sam male pronouns THEY ARE NON-BINARY JUST USE THE CORRECT PRONOUNS AND BE A DESCENT HUMAN BEING!!! IT DOESN’T KILL YOU TO BE RESPECTFUL!!
I really don't understand the urge to be nonbinary at all - it seems like there are so many different ways of being male or female that surely everyone could find a space for themselves in one category or another. But I'm glad Sam did the talk with Jameela Jamal - it helped me to respect their choice even though I can't understand it. If this is what makes them happy, since it's not hurting anyone then why not?
James, I just absolutely adore you! Have since Gavin & Stacey years ago! I love seeing good humans succeed and stand for kindness and love. Good on you and Sam for being such wonderful humans. 💜
