I would like to add, God has helped me memorize scripture by simply studying with deep interest, and writing down what I read; sometimes repeating the verses in different "journals". Writing helps my focus like nothing else! And The Holy Spirit comes and warms my heart as I read! This process has helped me get to know Jesus better! Oh how I love HIM!!

I thought you would also have said that when God sees you desire and struggle to learn His words, He will open your brain and give to you as desired. Pastor Skeete....the answer to the question asked concerning Deuteronomy 23:3 about Ammonite or Moabite not entering in the Congregation of The Lord: Ruth rejected her Moabite past and accepted the People of God....she no longer identified with Moab practice or Thinking and certainly her God was now Jehovah (Ruth 1:15)...Furthermore it was a Patriarchal society thus David Father and Grand Father and Great Grand Fathers were all Hebrews Israelites. No contradiction there!!!

So even though Rahab and and Judah's daughter in law, whom he impregnated, featured in the lineage of Jesus it is Judah's blood line that determines which tribe Jesus came from. Both Mary and Jesus came from the tribe of Judah. Similar principle applies to David.
There are 14 generations from Moses (Deutoronomy) to David. If David is a fourth generation moabite, then it did not contracdict the command but rather exactly complied the 10-year limit (consequently add 4=14). Also the term "forever" in english bible doesn't necessarily mean the literal meaning of it as understood today. Depending on the context, "forever" could also mean "for a long time." Like this instance, 10 years doesn't literally mean forever.
