      Listen, pal, they had to put the budget into displaying 100 machines to process pasta at once, to achieve the optimal decibel level needed to impress would-be buyers who wanted this pasta maker to double as a sleep sound machine… They didn’t have anything left over for writing a script. _So stop being so judgmental!_ 😂

    Another thought. Some TV company out there needs to make a "Where Are They Now?" episode featuring these clowns....preferably Terry Scott. I believe there would be a HUGE audience for that. Even bigger than the amount of oregano Ron used for that wretched clam sauce. Sorry....I just can't get over it. It's been bothering me since I was a child.

    If I were to mix a whole bunch of different tasting pastas together, it would be called "nasty". Ron does it and labels it confetti pasta. He's so smooth about it too.

    Anyone else want to puke over that clam sauce? "A little olive oil..." my ASS, not to mention the gargantuan amount of oregano. Franca Paganucci was probably ready to have a heart attack over that lack of Italian knowledge Ron is bestowing. Thank God for Terry Scott. He saved the day. Kewanee is one lucky ass place.

    Love these old infomercials... So much nostalgia, I'm telling you. One funny thing I noticed is the token "college student" in the audience who spoke was the same "college student" seen in the food dehydrator infomercial a few years later, hahaha... Not necessarily saying these people are actors--some might be, or they have repeat guests, haha

      The only reason I imagine a person would willingly appear in an infomercial is to gain exposure. Jim, the black guy in the GLH infomercial was an actor who was in Enemy Mine and one of the bus passengers in Speed.

    I owned of these for about five years. Really great product, if a bit loud lol. I used to make some delicious garlic pasta, and even tried Ron's clam sauce once or twice, only I didn't use so much oregano. haha.

    :-) As I said, a bit of a stereotypical assumption.
    I'm an Englishman who lives in Australia, and I don't drink tea (an English institution), which I get ribbed about every now and again. I have no problem with that, and don't see it in the slightest bit racist.
    To me, being racist is when you treat someone worse (or better) than others simply because of where they are from.
