I had an electric skillet for years
But now I like doing the porkchops and other things in my air fryer
It’s healthier and it takes me time to cook
I use my air fryer every day and it’s one of the best appliances I’ve bought
I have my Electric Skillet from my Wedding back in 1968, still works just fine love it !!!
Patricia
Hey girl I had my electric skillet for 45 years!!! My daughter thought I needed a new one and she bought me one. It still worked😢 I fried my pork chops in it every time! Oh just to let ya know I'm 68 years old! Ha! Ha!😍I love you Mel😘😘
I had a large electric skillet that I loved & used for years. Got it in 1965 as a wedding gift!!😊
I have an electric skillet from my first marriage and I still use it. Love it, and we are going on 33 yrs.
I was given my Papa's electric skillet after he passed. It's one of my prized possessions! He'd be 103 now. He cooked everything from pancakes to fried fish to pork chops in it. I use it all the time. I love it. It's a fun mustard yellow, too. Everyone always comments on it and asks where to get one. I tell people I'm not really sure, it's older than me. 😂💓🥰
I actually really prefer several Great Value items over so called "Name Brand"
This video was so great! Thank you so very much!
"I like to throw a little bit of meat out of the pan" 😂😂😂 Me too, girl! Every time!
It ain't good if I don't get a little everywhere LOL
My mom had an electric skillet. She cooked pretty much everything in it, I think it was before she ever got a slow cooker. All of these look wonderful! I only cook for myself and I just can't do days and days of the same leftovers so I think I'm going to convert these into individual freezer meals. ❤
We do that too. I put extra leftovers in the freezer in inexpensive Ziplock containers, and it sure is handy to pull a few out when we're busy or don't feel like cooking. I got some removable labels to use so I can keep track of what's been put away and the date.
Got one when I got married in 1978. Used it for fried chicken tenders. My kids favorite meal.
I grew up with an electric skillet so when I found one from the 70's at a thrift store, I bought it! Love it for fried chicken!
My daughter and daughter in law have electric skillets. I love cooking things in the skillet- pancakes, country fried cubed steak, cubed pork, kielbasa with peppers and onions, fried chicken, fried okra,French fries, fried cornbread, etc
I have an electric skillet & use it at least once a week. I have been married for almost 29 years & have always had one throughout our marriage ♥️
I'm loving white sauce so much more then tomatoes sauce ! Adding mozzarella & Parm yummm thanks for the recipe👍
I have an electric skillet and have always had one my entire adult life. When one stops working or the coating starts coming off i buy another. I love it for fried potatoes (i feel i can use less oil in my electric skillet). These recipes all looked delicious, i will try them for my husband as i am diabetic and don't eat pasta. Thank you so much for sharing, Mel. God bless all!
I had one for 30 yrs and finally just replaced it. I love doing pork chops and scalloped potatoes in it.❤ Thank you for sharing these I can't wait to try them.
Hey sweet Aunt Mel. Asking y'all to please continue to pray for us. We've had a lot of bad luck the past few weeks. We got severe weather coming tonight and possibly all week. Thank you in advance. God Bless. PS, everything looks and sounds so delicious. I'm definitely going have to try these. I'm over here drooling.
I have an electric skillet. It was a wedding gift from my mother in law. We actually use it quite a bit. It is soon to be 49 yrs old...oh my. Mrs.Steve
I love any pasta with a cream sauce and one pot meals!🪻
My soul sister!
Nana cooked in her electric skillet a lot! Fried chicken was my favorite, the coating was just right. I am putting all 3 of these into rotation, starting with the Marry Me chicken tortellini bake. Thanks for the recipes...you make them all look so easy.
Please add my 82-year-old friend, Jan, to your prayer list. They found out her 55-year-old son has esophageal cancer, spread to his lungs and liver. Her family is stunned. And the son, Tim, is not a Believer. I believe your community is a praying one, and I thank you in advance for the prayers for Jan, for strength; Tim, that he will not enter eternity without knowing the Lord Jesus, and for his sister, Kim, who has much on her plate right now. Jan's sister has dementia...Jan has the 3 of them, including herself, to care for now. Thanks for the prayers❤❤
Hi Mel! I loved this video! I, too, like to throw a little ground beef out of the side of my skillet! 😊
You have so many good recipes, I can hardly keep up, Berber binge watching. Hope I can find. Some of these when I need them. Thank you

My mama cooked so many delicious meals in an electric skillet. I used one for a while after my glass range top shattered. It was nice, but I have such little counter space.😊
I had and still do have my electriic skillet. Got it from Montgomery Ward. It still works and you can get a lot of meat to fry in it. Love it.
I love all the recipes Mel. I especially liked the last one!

My mom used to use an electric skillet when I was a kid in the late 70s/80s. She would do country-fried steak in hers.
I agree… I cook my fried chicken and pork chops in mine. I’ve always had one. If I get lazy and try to fry it on my stove I ruin it every time! Can’t live without my electric skillet❤
My maw maw had an electric skillet. The gold standard for fried chicken
I love my electric skillet, it’s 45 years old but still in mint condition. I bought my daughter and grand daughter in law one for Christmas a few years ago and they really like theirs too. The way they are made now you can wash them in the dishwasher. Got theirs at Target in case you want that information.
I still have my electric skillet that I got for my shower the first time I got married in 1977. I have 2 small ones that are older than that someone gave me. I haven’t used them in years . I love fried chicken in it.
I grew up with an electric skillet and I’ve always had one of my own❤️
